I'm an IKV girl, but 801. 510s, I have no fav as I don't use them enough. I have some 510 Boge 2.8 ohm if your interested pm me.

For a BF, I'd recommend the hybrid COV carries, however I think Bruce has some QQ issues to straighten out first with these new bad boys. They are 306 internals in a 510 case & threads. Also the highest ohms they have atm is 2.0. Higher are coming.

you can get "15mm" spacers for the chargers from lighthound.com or here from wonderlite the aw battery supplier were on the forum.

i'm not sure what the second question means. i think they say use them in pairs. rotate the use of the pairs (if you have 4) so they all keep up their charge for a long time? that's my guess and i'm sticking to it:laugh:

i'm sure the boys will have a better answer

Finally caught up!

Thanks tybin and yes the bolded part is what I meant. What happens if you don't have four batts and have to keep using the same two? Does it hurt anything. Will they blow up? 8-o

one advantage to having 4 is you can keep vaping your lovely mod instead of having to wait for the batteries to charge:angel:

Yeah.............it sucks to wait for one batt to charge. Or in this case it will be two. Oh well. Better to have one than none or two than none.

Yes, but I bought the wrong thing! Read 2.8 to 5, try a 306. So that's no joy. BTW, plenty of vapor, just no flavor. No flavor or vapor on the standard atties from my ego. Everything else I have is low (1.7 or under) resistance. Love the 1.7 resurrector on the ego- so that's like 8 watts. Anyway, going to make an order. To save on shipping and frustration could all you please let me know your favorite (for a 5 volt) atty and or cartomizer (if you use one on the wetbox- I'd like to try one of those while I'm at it) brand and amp? Would really appreciate it. I am definitely getting 3.0 but what brand? And 510 or 306? Or both?

Hmmm, the post I read was 4.5 306, not 2.8. Just trying to help get you closer to 8 watts. :) 3.0 Joye, IKV, TW 510's. All good. SmokTech DC 2.0 Cartos. Yes, 2.0. A whole different animal and work amazing. 3.0 BOGEs should get you there too.

lMaking me head spin! I am sure of one thing- all flavor is vanquished at 5volts with a 4.5 306 atty. And that was nice juice.

Sorry, I'm being unclear! I did a hv 4.5 306. Back when I was figuring out what to buy I misread that I could do 2.8 to 5 and to try 306s. But, hey you have more than helped with your answers- so thanks! I appreciate the help.

Down the rabbit hole..
Have I heard back from any of the new Cutlass owners? Wonder how the new ladies are doing out there ...

Well, I have good news and bad news. The switching regulators look like they will fit into the current box without any real modifications, but the bad news is that I will have to make room in the bottom for the adjustment hole.

I ordered a on/off switch from Digikey that is half the size of the current one and that will give me the extra room I need but they just shipped it today so the wait is on altho I can start making boxes tomorrow.

I've heard nothing but good from the people using that regulator in Tom's and Brad's mods so I'm very happy to be changing over to this one and I think the increased price of the board will be offset by the the time I will save making them so no plans on a price hike either, Yo ho!
yipee!..yay!...woo hoo....switching regulators .....will make a great beautifully handcrafted mod awesome....sweet..

morning Cappy and Crew!...:)
