yarr, down to just one on the website. Next batch is pending waiting on the arrival of the smaller kill switch. Once I get the switch in I will do a small run of VV and a couple 3.7v boxes that I need to get done.

If all goes well, I am thinking about finally throwing open the doors for some pre-orders. I will list a bunch of body & end cap wood types I have available along with pictures and then people can mix and match as they please along with switch types & CC sizes.

Once I get to work on them I would estimate 7-10 days to completion, usually never takes me longer than that, but thats all a couple weeks down the road. Will give me time to hash out the details.

Cappy Nube Rossa should throw the anchor in my port any day now. I will let you and the rest of the crew know how she handles at rough sea when my callused hands are tightly draped over the helm. In the meantime I'm stocking up of all the necessary, I'll be ravaging the Mediterranean shores with my vape clouds until the horizon will be just a far away memory of the past...:D...ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Sorry Cappy for not checking in with #502

I love the detail in the wood, the function of the unit, and the design (no issues with leaking, clogs, misfires, anything). I also own an Ali'i, but I like my Cutlass better - the workmanship is top tier. The shaping and character of the zebrawood ends and ebony are stunning.

Happy!

Awesome! Good to hear back from you and happy to hear everything is working sweet!

Speaking of sweet, I didn't realize until later that the Macassar Ebony was actually more expensive than the B & W ebony, so you really got a sweet deal, lol

That's one fine looking lady, hope she treats you well :)

I don't know if this will work, but I took a picture of the boxes I cut out today.

There are 20 total cut. The first run of VV with the new regulator will be limited to 4 plus one preorder for 5 total.

The next run after that will use up the rest of the boxes that I cut today.

One of the Ziricote and one of the Marblewood boxes are taken already for those preorders.

The base price will stay the same for VV at $169 using the new regulator. On the picture I added the name of the wood type and the additional cost (+5/10 etc.) that choosing that wood type will add to the total. This is the only choice that will change the price. You could also let me know that you wanted a 3.7v or something other than VV.

Base prices - 3.7V $119
3.7V +LED $139
VV $149
VV +LED $169

I was thinking of also taking a similar picture of end cap woods all labeled and arranged for choosing them the same way. They do not add to the cost irregardless of what type is chosen.

The only other thing to choose would be either Nickel switch/CC, or Gloss black switch/CC. I would by default put the larger CC on them unless requested to use the small or none at all.

What do you think? Would a system like this work for preorders? I could take a picture of available woods prior to the beginning of each batch and be able to adapt to my changing wood supply and still provide pictures and examples. Any unclaimed boxes at the start of the batch would just get built as usual and go up on the website for sale.

Edit: Adding the end cap woods available

Here are the other options;

p.s., also this way you can see the actual box that will be your mod when finished not just an example
