Grimm Green and The vape Babe are on VapeTV on Friday nights....
I've been watching them for awhile.

The 18650's are looking good.
I'm going to send you a package tomorrow, so you can get the measurements to make mine.

Sounds good, I will get it done quick and back in your hands before you can say, 'Aaarrr, who stole me ale?' All I need is a couple measurements.

I finished all prep work on the Mark-IV's and gave them a coat of sealer, so far they are good to go. After drying for another day I will install the guts and then give them 3 more coats of finish. I decided to give them a bevel instead of rounding them, even tho they look a bit like Phidias clones, edgewise anyway. Looks good tho.

I started another run of 3 Mark-IV's and will use the measurements gathered from this run. If it goes smoothly I can start making them faster and even fancier.

Yarr!

Ahoy, top 'o the mornin to ye all, specially me trusty Plank Owners, I hope yer havin a fine and glorious day!

Been spendin too much time below decks workin, workin, workin, need to come up for some fresh air, arrrr....

(A plankowner (also referred to a plank owner) is an individual who was a member of the crew of a ship when that ship was placed in commission)

Hmmm, I do believe anyone owning a mod number 01 through 10 shud be considered a plank owner of the 'Red Sky', and given all rights and respects due. One of them, they will always pay the original listed price for a mod, no matter what the current price of new ones are. Arrrrr!

Red Sky mods

Time to turn to, below decks I go, mods don't build themselves!

So I went to a Rockies game last night and had no problem getting in with my Red Sky Mods bottom feeder full of BWB. Not to be an "in your face" vaper, I'd go with my friends to the smoking areas. All comments and interest in my vaping demonstration were directed to Red Sky Mods and ECF. (I have some of those ECF cards printed up). Rockies won, gorgeous spring weather, I'm vaping and NOT smoking... good times.

Here's a shot of the Denver skyline from one of the smoking areas.. LOL

Awesome, I've always said, every cigarette you avoid by vaping is a win, the more you avoid the bigger the win.

Great view, one o' the places I've never been. I'm starting to miss seasons and get a bit sick o' palm trees to be sure...

Good idea, I been floggin meself pretty dastardly to get this work done. Update? Howsabout some pictures?

These are the first two that look like they will survive the weeding out process, both are spoken for tho.

Left is Mahogany/Mahogany with Melokhia inlay, right is Black walnut/Yaya end caps.

They are roughly 3.6" high, 2.8" wide and 1" thick, but I am still tightening up the design, remember these are basically prototypes still.

I had another of the trio made from Monkey Pod wood, but it will not survive to be sold. The lid is out of align and I cant fix that ... pity.

Final assembly is almost done with these two, then barring any accidents (like dropping a tool on one, it happened), they shud be ready to sail by tuesday.

I REALLY need to get working on more Mark-III's too, havent sold anything in nearly a week, the 'Commodore' isn't very happy wit me, arrrrrr..... Takes time to implement designs tho ....

Ok, food, then back to work ..

Ahoy! Sorry, but I have scrapped the Mark-IV's, too many compromises from trying to design 'on the go'.

I am going to take a bit of time off and tweak the Mark-III design a bit and totally redesign the Mark-IV.

Instead of trying to make it like a larger version of the Mark-III I need to give it its own carefully thought out design.

Arrr, if your going to do it, do it right!

Perhaps I should amend what I posted, I won't be making any MORE until I look at the design. What worked for the M-3 is not working as I wanted in the M-4. For one it's too wide, it needs to be tightened up. I may do away with the pain in the .... to make inner door and go with a shelf system for the battery to rest on. I'm also going to re-look at the switch, If I use a horn switch I could lose even more of the width. It will only delay me a day or two but it needs to be done.

P.S., two of them are complete, but the following M-4 units are on hold.
