So quiet, all you lads must be happily home from work, vaping away and readin a good book, arrrrr... I like books meself, 'specially the ones wit pictures!
Grimm Green and The vape Babe are on VapeTV on Friday nights....
I've been watching them for awhile.
The 18650's are looking good.
I'm going to send you a package tomorrow, so you can get the measurements to make mine.
Aye, sitting at the desk, doing some chiseling/sanding and watching tv ... arrrr, life could be worse to be sure.
Glad the forums are back up, had me worried for a while there.
So I went to a Rockies game last night and had no problem getting in with my Red Sky Mods bottom feeder full of BWB. Not to be an "in your face" vaper, I'd go with my friends to the smoking areas. All comments and interest in my vaping demonstration were directed to Red Sky Mods and ECF. (I have some of those ECF cards printed up). Rockies won, gorgeous spring weather, I'm vaping and NOT smoking... good times.
Here's a shot of the Denver skyline from one of the smoking areas.. LOL
Ahoy, top 'o the mornin to ye all, specially me trusty Plank Owners, I hope yer havin a fine and glorious day!
Been spendin too much time below decks workin, workin, workin, need to come up for some fresh air, arrrr....
(A plankowner (also referred to a plank owner) is an individual who was a member of the crew of a ship when that ship was placed in commission)
Hmmm, I do believe anyone owning a mod number 01 through 10 shud be considered a plank owner of the 'Red Sky', and given all rights and respects due. One of them, they will always pay the original listed price for a mod, no matter what the current price of new ones are. Arrrrr!
Red Sky mods
Time to turn to, below decks I go, mods don't build themselves!
^^Post 224 and 261. Not the traditional "professional" review, but none the less.
Pm sent on the 18650.
Edit: I'm liking the recessed connector BTW.![]()
Good idea, I been floggin meself pretty dastardly to get this work done. Update? Howsabout some pictures?
These are the first two that look like they will survive the weeding out process, both are spoken for tho.
Left is Mahogany/Mahogany with Melokhia inlay, right is Black walnut/Yaya end caps.
They are roughly 3.6" high, 2.8" wide and 1" thick, but I am still tightening up the design, remember these are basically prototypes still.
I had another of the trio made from Monkey Pod wood, but it will not survive to be sold. The lid is out of align and I cant fix that ... pity.
Final assembly is almost done with these two, then barring any accidents (like dropping a tool on one, it happened), they shud be ready to sail by tuesday.
I REALLY need to get working on more Mark-III's too, havent sold anything in nearly a week, the 'Commodore' isn't very happy wit me, arrrrrr..... Takes time to implement designs tho ....
Ok, food, then back to work ..
Ahoy! Sorry, but I have scrapped the Mark-IV's, too many compromises from trying to design 'on the go'.
I am going to take a bit of time off and tweak the Mark-III design a bit and totally redesign the Mark-IV.
Instead of trying to make it like a larger version of the Mark-III I need to give it its own carefully thought out design.
Arrr, if your going to do it, do it right!
