Howard Feed and Wax has been recommended several times, I have yet to give it a try myself as I can simply put more finish on mine when they look a bit dull. I have to try to remember to get some and see how it works.

Darn internet is slow as dirt for me today, I wonder if the buggers are throttling me ... arrrr... plank time!

howards feed n wax is a blend of beeswax, orange oil and carnauba wax....it preserves and cleans the wood ....I've been using it for years on kitchen cabinets and wood furniture..
it keeps them from drying out ...

I now use it on my wood mods....it protects from juice damage and maintains the finish...leaves just a light luster and a faint scent of oranges...keeps mods looking new...
a bottle lasts forever as you need very little...and its easy just put a little on a paper towel, wipe the mod down...leave set for 20 min...wipe with clean cloth and you're good
to go...

Thanks for the info Cappy. Another thing, does your wood coating provide UV protection for the mod? I'm not a wood expert but I hear that purpleheart can drastically change its hue when exposed to sunlight, it can turn from a reddish to brownish color.

I don't mind about that, just wanted to know what to expect from my baby when it finally gets home, when is that going to be?

P.S. Has De Niro ever done a Pirate flick? I'm not sure...

It will provide SOME protection but UV coating has its limits. I would avoid direct sunlight whenever you can to prolong the purple shade to the box.

@ Haarun. I've seen purple heart turn darker purple as it oxidizes from the UV's. Adds character.

Sure, you will need two 18350 size batteries, protected of course and any 510 atomizer although I would not recommend you use LR atties. I myself use Totally Wicked TITAN atties but thats just personal preference.

One of these days I need to compile a list of all the atties that people have successfully used, but there are so many choices out there altho. I wonder what is heading the popularity list for atties right now?

The AW IMR 18350's are not protected but have safe chemisty, they are the best. Better then protected one's IMHO as if there circuit fails you are screwed anyway. Just keep your batties safe, and the VV should be able to take care that they don't run too low
On atties: regular Joye 510's, they are great, last a long long time, can get them anywhere and are cheap.
I also Like IKV HV 306's when I want to get that extra kick in the back of me throat after killing pirates at the end of full day's work.

any attie will do, HV will also work. Been trying all, believe me, a regular attie works perfect. They are around 2.3 ohm, set your voltage to whatever liking and Vape like a Pirate!!
