I didn't wanna get up either. Think I'm coming down with something.

There is a flu bug that is going around. I sure hope I don't get it. There's also a stomach bug going around. I already got that one.
I think i got the stomach one too.. oh maybe its all this coffee I'm drinking.. LOL
Yes, it seems the bigger the block the more opportunity to hide nasty surprises. Here is a pic of what the inside of a block of stabilized burl can sometimes look like. Even finding good enough wood for one or two mods was difficult and there will be places where I had to fill in the small voids and holes that I just had to deal with.
I am going to send extra lids with both the Mark-8's because the wood is not very firm and I am worried that one might get accidentally cracked.
Oh thanks Brian for the pics and explanations. They are very helpful to know what you have had to deal with! I'm sorry for the time and trouble I have put you through but I have to admit, they look sweet in the photo you put up! When we first got the Ironwood it actually felt like a piece of iron - it was heavy but deceiving, and seeing it broken down is amazing. Thanks for including the extra lids - hopefully we won't need them! My wife and I are very .... about taking care of our things (we don't have children but we do have pets and they can be just as destructive!) so I would hope not to have any accidents, but I guess you never know!

Yeah... my hair is super long right now so even though I cut off several inches, it was salvageable.

Sadly, I went to the salon and just forgot to take a picture of the mess I made before I left the house! I don't know what I was thinking...

Reminds me of when Wifey got her hair cut in a "trendy" style, many years ago.
When I got home, she asked me "How do you like it?".
The only reply I could come up with at the moment was "Well, at least it will grow out."
It was pretty doggone cold in our house for a few days after that....
