My brother was impressed with the work that goes into the REOs. He's always hated smoking--had asthma as a kid, so he made me this since I've been analog free for 6 months. Just thought I'd share my "one-off" Grand door.

Please tell your brother than I own a Grand too, have been smoke free for 5.5 months, and my mailing address is ...

Great looking door!

LOL--I'll let him know. It's not quiet right yet, but it's close. The surface scratches are not nearly so apparent as they seem in the photos. I'm also letting it go as far as finish. I want to see how it ages. I can always polish it and put a coat of clear on it. You can't see it in the photos, but to get that effect, every other row of swirls is polished in the opposite direction, so there is a sort of prism effect when it's moved and the light catches it.

Next up is likely to be engine turned stainless steel. Stainless is a great choice for durability, but it's not too much fun to work with. That one might end up in the scrap heap if it doesn't want to behave.

If I get more, I'll post them up. I'm trying to keep these to the same standards that Rob maintains, and we're not quiet there yet, but this one was close. If I didn't have issues with the magnets in the first place, it wouldn't have had any scratches.

Why is the button on your Reo Grand different? I like it.

It's a rubber bumper foot gasket thing. It was a gift from a forum member. There available at most plumbing stores from my understanding. And only needs minor modification to the hole to fit nice and snug on the button. And it's a mini :)

I'm trying to find you a link to the post about it but am having trouble finding it, Will update when I find it.

(EDIT)

Cool. Thank u very much. Need to protect My River Song. I don't even use my BB anymore. Take River everywhere. Even use my Map tank on it. (w/510-510 adapter). I just love my ReoGr. Next month plan on enlarging the family. River needs a Doctor, Rory, Amy, and Tardis. LOL!
