Unfortunately I used PayPal and the 45 day dispute window has passed. Of course, for most of those 45 days it was either being repaired or in transit. Still is, I guess.

suzi if you used your CC to fund the paypal transaction, you should still be able to dispute the charges with your CC.

I've noticed many suppliers drag their heels beyond those wtty dates, guarantee dates, just to get items to you.

in my book that's a scam, and I avoid suppliers like that like the plaque.

I'd like to say that the GG is a good product, IMO. I thoroughly enjoyed it for the few weeks I had it. It looks nice, worked well and I didn't have any problems with it (other than the button recall). It's one of a few good 6v devices on the market now.

But I have to be able to rely on the supplier to back his device 100%. That includes being responsible for it when it's in his care and seeing that it gets back me in a safe and timely manner. If ,for any reason, this doesn't happen, I expect the supplier to work with me diligently to do whatever it takes to set the problem right. Sadly this isn't the case. It's very disappointing.

((((Suzi)))) I am so sorry to hear that your GG Grant is still missing. I know I would be gutted if mine had gone astray.

As usual, I'm going to sort of sit on the fence & say, could you just hang fire a few more days until the 30 days are up? Maybe after that time Imeo will be able to find, via the Greek tracking system) where your Grant is?

When I returned my GG grant for the button update, I paid over £7.00 to send it trackable insured but when I checked 2 weeks later to see if it had arrived at it's destination, the information wasn't available & I was told to check back at a later date (I didn't need to as my GG arrived in Greece, was updated & returned to me).

IMHO the easiest solution to this would have been if Imeo had bought back the GG grant that he had mistakenly sent to Bionic, then sent it on to Suzi - there is a very good chance that was her Grant anyway. However - where on earth has Bionic's Nano got to? If that can be found & Bionic hasn't sold the Grant - problem could be solved.

Another thought, i still have the tracking number on the jiffy bag from when Imeo sent back my Grant. If others also have that info we could all help with the process of elimination re tracking numbers?

My PayPal account is tied directly to my bank account, D. I'll talk to them to see if I have any recourse. I'm also going to give PayPal a call and explain the extenuating circumstances. Couldn't hurt, right? ;)

Suzi good for you for not taking the offer, although I think it was a good start my feeling on the issue is that you spent all this money for a product you had enjoyed, Then it gets recalled and you poney up for the "upgrade" only to have it lost by the manufacturer. I think what you really want is Just a replacemnt of the exact unit and not a maybe if it gets there.

You want a working unit in your hands!

If the manufacturer had offered that to begin with I am sure this thread would have never existed.

Once Imeo gives the package to the carrier, it's out of his hands. He can only hope the package arrives safely and in a timely manner.

"only hope"? you call that service?

LMAO that's what INSURANCE IS FOR. I send insured USPS all the time. Cost a FEW BUCKS more.

The responsibility is on the shipper to ship it properly. Greece must be a third world country if they don't even provide tracking #'s.

OR, imeo was too cheap to spend $ on the same protection to his customers as they spent on shipping it insured/tracked to "his hands".

To send a return package to the WRONG customer, shows how unconcerned he is with 'customer service'. He may have sent a better one to someone and they'll take the freebie and run, but what about the poor schmuck who's GG is in someone else's hands and imeo wants to refund 'cost' to the customer?

Ppl that agree with that 'quality' service are what give these cottage industries a bad name.

definitely contact paypal. throw in "e-cig purchase" and watch them jump to ;)

that's why i linked my visa to paypal in addition to my checking account.

if it's a TRUSTED purchase, I'll use checking. If it's likely to be a snafu hell, i choose my visa EVERY TIME.

need_2quit, Imeo DID send them back tracked. His PO supplied him with tracking numbers for every parcel. However, unlike the PO's in the UK (& most likely in the USA) they did not supply him with a print out showing which tracking number belonged to which parcel.

Chrissie... bioniic wasn't the only one that got the wrong device back. So I dont' even know if the one he got is mine or not.

What tracking number is Imeo going to use to track my device? He admittedly mixed up the all the tracking numbers so how will he know which to use or if it even belongs to my device? Even if he uses some random tracking number, how long does a trace take. I hear what you're saying and understand you're being on the fence with it. But I gotta tell ya, I'm just slap out of excuses and patience.

Chrissie... that isn't entirely accurate.

Yes suzi, they shipped on Sunday but I cant give you a tracking number. All recipments are here but I dont know witch is yours, I didnt kept record.

It was my first time that I ship so big quantity and post office told me that the next time I must go with a paper with names, so to stick beside every name the little stick he gave me. I didnt knew that so I dont know witch is yours sorry. But if I send them yesterday, then I believe that in 1 week they will be there

Hi Suzi,

There certainly are a lot of opinions in this thread. I've tried to keep my ego under control..... but it just wanted to get on here sooo bad.:D:D:D

Stormy has the best opinion I think, Imeo should make a new Grant with end caps (if he can't find hers) and send it to you. Actually, I've strongly felt that he already did that and was just waiting for it to arrive any day now. But so far, it hasn't shown up. So much for my feelings.

Actually, the only thing Suzi is asking for if the above isn't accomplished (correct me if i'm wrong), is to be restored financially to the point, as if she had never known Imeo or the GG. With that definition in mind it makes it simple to decide on what type of refund she should get.

OK ego, you had your say.he,he,he toooo funny!!!

Love ya Suzi and hope this gets resolved very soon to everyone's satisfaction.

You're perfectly right on all accounts, Rainy. I suggested a replacement be sent to me to Imeo in my first post. Grant - not Transformer. I bought one of the last Grants available. I don't care for the Transformer.

And yes... I'm asking for a full refund for the GG and it's related accessories. Plus the money I paid to him for the upgrade (I didn't get) and the cost of shipping my now missing Grant to him,

That's my wish, as well - that it gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

Suzi, I read this bit " so to stick beside every name the little stick he gave me" as meaning that Imeo was given a whole load of tracking numbers on Sticky paper - but I could be wrong of course :)

need_2quit, no doubt with hindsight Imeo should have done things differently.
