Quick question...I was just told somewhere else that my wire was too long on the right side on my RM2 set up. But how do you get the wires even in the screws when you try to gently pull the coil over to have it partially above the hole? It's obviously going to stretch the further side a little longer right?

I guess I don't understand why the dang hole is off center anyway to make it easier. LOLOL. My REO vapes great but want to make sure I build the coils the best that I can to get the full amount of flavor/vape as much as possible. This was my very first build w/Kanthal so I it's not pretty but works.

Angie, the distance away from the posts you have looks fine but I would recommend putting whatever you wrapped it on back thru the coil and pulling out the left side and pushing in the right side so the coil is parallel to the posts and the mass is close to centered on the posts. It is not necessary to try to move the coil over the juice hole.

Here's a pic so you get the idea :)ImageUploadedByTapatalk1403446698.901537.jpg

Russ, you the frickin' man... I just wasn't quick enough...

Too funny :) I would have been even quicker but my imgur is acting up :) I also can't type on this phone to save myself and ALWAYS have to edit typos.

Thanks Mike. Your post and pix will definitely be helpful though.

And I can't be the be the man cause you da man :)

AHAH! makes note that old people like us need a MAGNIFYING glass to even see this stuff!

Ha I was using that for about the first few months then it became so easy I no longer used it. I recently gave it to my mom :)

No I go in bareback and many times with a camera between me and the build. It gets easier every time you do it trust me.

You are gonna get so good at coil building and wicking that you will look back and laugh at where you are now. :)

What's even funnier is aside from that grand, I don't use any of those tools any more. They have been replaced with these:

Very cool..always finding new and better ways. I like that. Can you please tell me what size is the screw and wingnut you put on the gizmo thingamajig? So your MOM can wrap a coil?

In sure she could but she has me so won't even look at a video. I just taught them to wick. Coilings next on the list so they're independent.

She is older though - like 74 :)

Oh I think that screw is an M4 with a corresponding wingnut :)

A little help from you REOMIZER experts. Here is the problem and I don't mean the my poor photo skills. Obviously the O-ring is dissolving as any do when in contact over time with my Lava Juice. Is this something easily fixed keeping in mind I am challenged when it comes to O-rings or is a trip to Maine's top of the line ER in order?
