I just recently got an RS in candy red ! Coming from an ego-t this things rocks slapped a Boge LR 2.0 carto on it... vaping heaven!!

That's a good combo at 3.7v. You might try the 1.7 ohm smoke tech single coils madvapes has too. They hold a little more juice and perform very well.

A red one is next on my list. I work where there are thousands upon thousands of miles of copper, steel, and PVC pipe and tubing, and every time I set down one of my rough stacks, I lose it. Red should stand out ;)

Just finished scrapin' paint on ladder and mowing about a half acre, Maxi RS in my pocket doing it's job no matter what I'm doing. If I drop it enough times I'll have an excuse to give it custom paint or possibly a duct tape finish. I love this damn thing.

Sorry for gushing - I like good hardworking tools!

Anybody with pictures of their custom mushroom switch caps? I'm still trying to figure out the best way without permanently altering the switch.

I got a roughstack v2 the other week. Last week it stopped working, I sent it back to madvapes and they said it was working fine. I got it back today and found that if I don't screw my carto (xxl smoktek) and shorty ext all the way down it works fine. If I screw it down flush it won't fire at all. Is there a fix I can do for this or do I just keep the carto a little loose on the roughstack?

On my shorty, mini, whatever you call i, If I screw the bottom(battery part) all the way and tighten, it won't fire. I screw it on till it just touches, then it works fine.

Hey guys,

I need some input, I got a RS shorty about 2 months ago, and it kept blowing the protection circuit on the batts (I am using DC cartos).

these: Protected 18350 Lithium Ion Battery

I tested the mod connectors loaded, and the batts, and before contacting MV, and they asked me to send it back to them for repair. I got it back and it still doesn't function correctly, it works for 5 or 6 hits before the battery turns itself off. If I put the batt back on the charger for a few minutes it resets itself, and works for 5 or 6 more times before tripping again.

So I think it's these batteries, not the mod. Question is: should I be using high drain batts for DCC's, or are these batts just plain faulty? I recently ordered a pipe that takes 18350's and if it's my batts that are screwed up I want to get some more in before it arrives, but of course MV doesn't offer high drain 18350's, so any suggestions on who would be a good vendor would be appreciated.

Any input would be useful.

I've not had any problems like that with those batteries, I prefer them to the trustfires I picked up. Have you tried unscrewing the carto a little when it stops working?

Yep. No change. I'm not sure what to do here, I'm probably just gonna open another ticket with MV, and tell them I don't want any of it. Seriously, my 1 year old ego batteries hit harder than my RS, what gives?

Like I said, I'm not sure what the problem is, and it's because of many posts like yours I got it in the first place, simple, small, not much that could go wrong, right?

Anyways, I opened another ticket with MV, we'll see what they say, I would even be willing to get a whole new one and batts, and if it worked, I'd keep it. Problem now is, it doesn't work, I don't use it, and I couldn't, in good conscience, sell it.

Hopefully we'll figure something out. I really wanted a little rock star mod.
