Hey Chopper71,

Remember there is no rush on mine and there is no need to include the led if its becoming too much of a pain. I'm not worried about $2.00

Notice to all I will once again close this thread after midnight tonight and start a new one with the what I will call the DEFCON MINI lol....I will have a link back at the end of the last thread before I close it.I will also be making some changes in it.No more LED Lights its just to time consuming and a hassle.Anyone that has paid for led lights will of course still get them.

I must say I am quite happy with my defcon...filled the tank in a minute, happily vaping for about an hour...fixed the airyness, found a dt to fit...and it's just perfect...I like a warmer vape and I could not get that on my lv...which I will probably sell for another dc....this was a great investment for my vaping needs...:)

which mesh do I need...I have 325 and 400...which kanthal do I need...

Maybe when we place our orders we can specify. I don't know if this would be too difficult but maybe he could have like small med. and large. just an idea. Just got my husbands up and running and covered a little over half his hole and he loves it too. So far his light is working. Very good flavor. I really like these. Few minor issues here and there but overall I would consider it a very successful first run. Like I said if the air hole were a bit smaller it would be perfect in my opinion. Pming you Chopper.

Come everyone... Give chopper a break.. this is budget genesis that is still made with care and quality. The more that goes into them, the more time he has to spend on them. Time is money, and either he looses money or the price goes up, then everyone loses.

That's why I asked if it was possible, I didn't think it would take any more time to drill a smaller hole. Sorry if I think their could be improvement but I'm pretty sure he'd rather hear what his customers had too say and if you read back a bit I am not the only one that feels it is too airy and for your information. Most people want feedback when they release a relatively new product so let him decide if he doesn't want to hear it. I bought 4 so for $200 I want to be sure it works for me. Thanks for trying to be a kiss .... (you know we all love those), but let Chopper decide what he can and cannot do. I actually like mine a lot but think Chopper might want to hear my opinion. I think he's rather have happy customers and honestly I'd rather pay a little more for a product I like. So if it costs more to drill a smaller hole than I will pay.

JB weld can fix the air hole and comes in many different types and colors. You could fill and re drill another hole or just fill part of the one that is on it now.Just pack some JB weld into the hole and work a syringe needle into it to get desired sized hole.

I thought of that too. Is that the same as a soldering kit. Had to buy one of those to get my VV Reo wire soldered so I just happen to have one laying around. I think I will try that this morning. I found a drip tip to fit too. I may try to make the DT hole a little bigger and then it should be perfect. Thanks Chopper these are great. Much better flavor than I get from a regular atty.

I would also like to add to Karla's bit of truth that is would be cheaper and easier for him to simply make a mark with a center punch in the location where the hole goes and then we could make the hole any size we want. That would avoid the need to cater to anybody with different drill bit sizes, and it would be much faster and easier to just make a mark w a punch as oppose to drilling a hole. Nobodys trying to rip on the man here. We are thankful for his hard work and the fact that he took the time and effort to bring us an affordable line. Im sure that I am not the only one who jumped thru 6 hoops and paid 3 times as much for the next available product up the ladder. I am grateful, thank you Chopper and Mrs Chopper.

No they are two different things.JB weld comes in a tube either as a 2 part epoxy or a stick that you cut desired amount. Then you just kneed it together until its all the same color patch the hole, then make what ever size hole you want the clean off the excess inside of the cap and let it sit to cure.I try to solder one of the holes and it will not stick to it.
