I would also like to add to Karla's bit of truth that is would be cheaper and easier for him to simply make a mark with a center punch in the location where the hole goes and then we could make the hole any size we want. That would avoid the need to cater to anybody with different drill bit sizes, and it would be much faster and easier to just make a mark w a punch as oppose to drilling a hole. Nobodys trying to rip on the man here. We are thankful for his hard work and the fact that he took the time and effort to bring us an affordable line. Im sure that I am not the only one who jumped thru 6 hoops and paid 3 times as much for the next available product up the ladder. I am grateful, thank you Chopper and Mrs Chopper.

This also an option ..... leave it airy and those that want tight draw

Good evening, night, and to some mornning :)
Chopper you made me feel like the Oracle of Wicks :)
I have put a few posts up on the previous page on wick tips and tricks, but I will rethread here with some additonal points

If you are using a 3.7v device, I would not go more than a 4 or 5 wrap at most

If you are getting to much TH and little vapor, hold your device at about 2 o'clock or 3'oclock when you vape. Gravity is king and will help the wicking

Make sure you do not have a short anywhere, check to make sure that the electrodes are not touching the wick in any way.

You may have a vaccum in the tank, and juice cannot wick, take your filling syringe, and pump a little air into the filling hole to clear any vaccum that may be formed. Do not pump to much in there or you will get a juice volcano

If you are overwicking, as chopper said close the top of the wick off, this will help.

The most important part - patience, all Genesis Style Attys take some time to adjust to, be patient, do not overthink the process, have some fun tuning to get those monster clouds of vapor!!!!!

To the father of the DefCon (and a kid or 2 from what I understand),
Congratulations on the successfull release of your first couple of products, and finally getting the status of becoming a veterinarian. Now not only are you qualified to work on rebuildable attys, but you may now also work on live animals. You are going to have to keep the animal division of S&S Mods local, as shipping of live animals can get expensive.
So from all of us Defconians, full size and mini alike, we thank you and wish you well in all your future business ventures, weather they breath oxygen or vapor.

Congrats Chopper on the Vet status :)

Got my DC to day looks killer did a dry run need to load it up and fire it off. I am exhausted from work It may have to wait till morning.

Question: What is the easiest way to fill the DC. On my other atty like this one there is a hole at the top. I dont see one on the DC.

Fit and finish is wonderful.
