Mine has just arrived, ordered 36 hours ago (and on a Sunday) what kept you Trog? ;)

Looks splendid; none of that joke cigarette stylee. My OH said you dont look a complete prat smoking that. Well she did not say that exactly but that is what she meant.

Fits the hand so well and feels so good I cannot put it down to type.

Thanks Trog.

Edit and it seems to have revived an old atomiser I thought was nearly dead.

Just a brief update after 48 hours of SD usage. Have exhausted the two pre charged batteries and back on the first one after a recharge. I was getting through a couple of 901 batteries every day at least; somtimes 4/5.
I suspect my e-liquid consumption will be well up as the SD is so good at burning it. On the other hand my tobacco consumption is down to 5 rollups today and I am happily facing the evening with no tobacco in the house at all.

A couple of my neighbours who pretend to partners they have given up often drop round for a quick rollup, they will be dissapointed tonight. Time to discover who my real friends are perhaps.

I've had my screwdriver for a few days now and it's a great bit of kit.
Yeah lots of parts are donored from other things but you really wouldn't know it. The whole thing has been put together very proffesionally.

And it's alot smaller than any of the pics on here seem to show , I was really supprised at how small it really is in the flesh.

I reackon the lanyard that Probably came with the original donor torch would be handy to have with it i reckon .

But Kudos to Trog and his minions for producing a fine piece of equiptment.

I'm REALLY looking forward to getting mine. According to Trog, I'm next on the list once his bats arrive. Shipment to me is probably too far off for me to be checking the mailbox yet...

After all the great reviews, I don't give a crap what it looks like. If I can top off a cart a few times a day, and not worry about the damned blinking battery syndrome, I'll be good. This is my Christmas present to myself...

Still trying to convince the other half to give up Salems though

BTW: on a "support group" kind of note, I smoked 2 "real" cigs today, using my 901s all day.

Just curious ApOsTle51, (you know how new device syndrome affects us all...)

Do you find that the "throat hit" and nic intake is as good as a 901 with a FRESH bat?

I'm hoping I can wake up in the morning and reach for the SD instead of a frickin' cig (...), and I'll be good forever.

BTW I'd NEVER reach for a "..." here in the US... :)

it comes from a chinese flashlight maker.. we could make the whole thing from scratch but why bother when the chinese do a better job..

in fact most of the screwdriver is made from chinese parts.. we simply chop them up.. use the parts we want and chuck the rest away..

taking advantage of "cheap chinese" in a slightly unusual way.. the end result being an e smoking device that works.. we shipped twenty out on monday to eleven different countries..

this isnt product promotion simply a story of how screwdrivers are made.. why people want them is a different story..

there is some irony here.. if u want a better e-cig made in china dont go to the chinese e cig factory.. go to the chinese torch factory.. which is what we are planning on doing shortly.. they could churn out screwdrivers by the thousand at a very low cost.. no one in the US or the UK can..

trog

ps.. we wont mess up the screwdriver.. something cheaper and simple that works would make more sense from a commercial point a view..

gotta love it.

I can see it now..

"The Trog-chenhuen e-cig construction complex with fully one halfs of the spaces for manufacturing reserved for full-quality fail proof and saftey smoking apparatuses for healthy replacement of your faulty e-cigs, at good costs to you..."

engrish intentional.

ps - trog - I pm'd you on your board...

better than a piece of steel tube which is what a normal e cig starts off from.. he he

but the bottom line is people buy a finished product.. we make that finished product.. we are about to sell some rather nice (trog modded) torches apostle.. high performance battery powered devices..

take something the chinese make and make it better.. not try and make it cheaper.. simply make it better..

this is the medium power version
