Trya nd answer as many questions as I can. Eclipse pretty much nailed it though.

My plug sits about 1-1 1/2 mm below the top of the cart. The bridge was fitting it too snug with a 10 star tool. It worked great after I made it not as long.

As for how I get the hole all the way through. I stick the star tool in one side and hold the mold by the cast and gently push my tool through the other side. Same as paper clip. Then i twist it in circle to make it smooth on the inside. I kind of stretch the hole, so a bigger star tool might be better. Try eclipses 15 size.

To make it cure faster put it in hot hot hot water for about 5 minutes with it in the cast. Seems to cure it better. I'm sure everyone will find there own perfect way as it can be molded anyway you like.

The one on the left works best for some reason. The hole is in the corner. 2 holes flooded my atty but works well on my chuck (HV). Unknown why. lol

hehe yeah, works on the HV cause its eating juice at twice the rate and thats probably why you dont notice the flooding.

This one that i tried on the HV is working excellent at normal 3.7v on my Protege. Every hit is huge over and over and over! Pretty rediculous as it seems to be runing rich yet the thing just keeps going and going without runing out of juice.

Cool.. Glad to see ya got it working on HV. Cant wait to make another one with the double holes in the corners.

Sucks as i wont get a chance to make another till probably 11PM tomorrow as i have to watch my kids all day.

I have yellow plugs all over the place! lol... Think I might make a smiley face one lol.... I know the feeling. I thought it stopped working so i shook it. Nope, out of juice. With the way its working, I might make a .... flavor juice to help .... heads!

I hope the cops don't show up at my house for any reason. I have 2 putty type solutions on my desk, a pot of water that is near boiling, several little bottles of "liquid", a razor, a bowl, paper towels with crap on them, etc, etc sitting on my desk and I'm "investigating" things on the internet ....

Oh, and I'm sure I'll let you know soon when I get one that is working perfectly because I know it's just a matter of time. This is definitely going to be my new favorite mod (probably my only).

Just a little question after reading the full post!!!! I would think the best principle to use to get the best outcome would be to set up your cast.. press in the mold... Then, insert your star tool and paperclip- what I did is bought a star tool (15) and cut it down to build as a working cast itself.
Along with a steel rod that is the same diameter as a paperclip.. all of which I affixed to a square sheet of steel alloy.

This way, I set my casting up and fill it with the puddy.. Then, I slide it centered over the star tool and let it sit for twenty minutes..... Then, I carefully set the whole thing in hot water for ten minutes!! I work the mold and casting off of the star tool and then seperate the two. Clean in soap and water.. and usually still have to shave the mold a little .. but I find that shaving a recession in the front of the mold is best (part toward the atty). instead of just smoothly taking the overall.. I shave a recessed area in an oval leaving all the corners intact just because it seems easier to remove the plug and I find that it works best without leaching on the sides. I primarily vape at both 3.7 v and 5 v and have no problems to report at this time.
My question is .... could a diameter plate be installed in a high bridge 901.. I mean there is a lot of space in these atties and the way I see it .. I would think a spacer could be dropped directly in the atty.. then, this plug... fill the atty with fluid and then, fluid in the cart with its plug.. then, walla..... you have even more fluid capacity. It makes sense to me because comparatively a 510 titan has an atty like this --- and the 901 high bridge atty I have is like this ------- .. They are extremely long with a lot of wasted area. What are your thoughts on this!!

Sometimes I look around and think it looks like the mad scientist lab.

You still need a vapor channel or passage.

God I hate living in BFE...the nearest hobby store is over an hour away, hell the nearest Wally World is 25 minutes away. I really want to try this for my 601, cause if I could figure a good mod for that monster...I would be in vaping heaven (until I bring myself to buying a juice box anyway! LOL)

Seriously though, I wanna be able to utilize the nearly 3ml cart!!!!! I drip in it right now, but it is still a PITA!

Anyone else notice any wierd strange taste or light headedness using this stuff?

Last night i noticed feeling a bit off as i was using it on my Protege at 3.7v. it was late at around 1 AM in the morning and thought it could just be that i'm tired or i've had too much nic. Didnt effect me playing video games though. Went to bed around 3AM.

This morning i felt normal.. used my Xhaler at 5v just dripping. Then i said lets go back and use the new plug to see if i notice anything. Took one large hit and waited. There comes the wierd feeling again and slight lightheadedness i felt last night. Though i continued to use it just to see if it would pass but nope. I dont wana say what it feels like as there will be a mass rush for people to buy it.

But anyways.. slight buzz and heavyness in my eyes.

Anyone else?? or is this just me?

I vape all day long so i doubt its a nic buzz.

Anyways, i'll stop using it untill others say there fine.

I havent noticed it, but I let mine cure over 20 minutes as I think that is too short. I let it cure for around 20-25 minutes then place it in hot water for around 5 minutes and then use a blow dryer to dry it out. My hole plug is a smooth yellow color.

I noticed when I didnt do it this way that the inside (where I made the hole) looked different (not fully cured). Maybe its because it so thick and not thin that it has to go through a more extensive curing process.

Ok.. makes sense. I also noticed this one i used is the one i cut to make it thinner. The inside is ruff and flakey looking and not smooth like the outside. Might have something to do with it.

But i did do the 20 min cure time or more and put it in a coffee mug with boiling hot water for 5-7 mins to help the curing.

I guess allow for longer cure time. I just hope its nothing to do with cutting it.. as over time i'm sure this thing will rip or tear from removing it so much.

Here is one I trimmed down to 3/8 of an inch tall. After my curing process it is as smooth as the outside.

Ahh, well there could be the prob then. Did you cut it after it was fully cured or gave it time to cure again after cutting it? if that makes any sense lol. Just want to be sure.

I cut it after it fully cured. For a no hassle cure, put it in the oven for about 5-10 minutes on 350 degress.
