I think sometimes too that if you have a really good seal at the bridge hole, the residual heat may be pressurizing the cart and pushing fluid out the vent. Thats why I started backing my cart off the bridge a bit when I am done...PITA...but seems to prevent that.

Nicotime thats some nice art work there! I did a vent threw the back of the resivor with pin hole but thats as far as I got, soon as I started to drip juice in it actually leaked right out the back of the cart like a beer .... so I stoped there... but using a tube to go out the resivor into the chamber where there is only air is pretty good idea... nice

Yeah, I had a '87 Iroc with TPI on it before this toy and I just could not go back to carburetors...need the G's!

Oh, missed this one. Ha...I think you will get more than dibs on that one...thats the low pressure side of the equation. You will get "juice injection" and bypass the whole vaporization thing. lol

Sure...I can sit inside the car with a laptop and feed you as much and as many intervals as possible...and the best part is it will control the nitrous flow too.

So, Has anyone else tried this? It's an open hole where you fill your juice into until it fills up? And it doesn't run all over the place?
Guess I need more info on it.

The hole is blocked by your bridge. If the hole is too big it will leak. A S2 sized square bit is the same size indention your bridge makes so you can work off of that. It really ez to make once you know the size hole u can use to allow it to vent. I can make mine eyeballing it, but I have made close to 20 of them.

Just an update...I had to pinch the tube at the bottom until its almost closed, like about the size of a hair opening. I have been using two of the plugs (on different flavors) for two days now and they suck the cart dry and no leak. I closed the tube up because it was starting to gurgle a little with the thinner juice. So my conclusion is that only a very tiny air vent is needed and it has to go to the bottom of the cart. I think the tubes position being so close to the bridge helps too, if any fluid does come up through it it gets absorbed by the bridge. I can fill the cart up to about the same as I did with the foam. Very easy to take out and replace after filling too.

I have found that as long as the center hole isnt bigger than the bridge and has an air vent, it wont leak. I think the air vent made with a paper clip is acting like a dripper when being vaped on. The center hole just acts to cause a vacuum. My paper clip hole is about the size of the hole in my ejuice bottles where the liquid drops from. Just MO.

Yeah the center hole conforming to the bridge is critical. When it wicks the fluid if the hole is irregular or oversize, it breaks the wicking action..like pulling a straw out of a drink while sucking on it. It made sense to me that the vent needed to go to the bottom because if vented on the top, air will come in to the back side of the plug and get between the fluid and wicking action...I guess?? Sounded good didn't it..lol

Just FYI ... On my "tube" version (which works great), I'm using the outer coating on some 20-22 gage (I think) wire since I didn't have any special cool .050 tubing laying around and placed it in a far corner. Since it's not touching the bridge or atty, it seems to be working fine. I made the paper clip hole and just pushed it down in there and clipped it even with the top. I also used a wooden dowel and just shaped it into your "bullet" shape. I didn't use a BB (ain't got one of those either), so I just put the dowel as close to the top without going through and used a hole punch that was 1/8" wide to make a hole. The atty seems to push it down a little and seal it.

I would post pictures, but it's basically exactly like nicotime's mod (including silver pipe screens from another mod attempt as the stabilizer) using a hole punch instead of a BB with a thin piece on top instead of the hourglass shape.

Get it right and it really does work well.
