Yeah it is. Simple as that. I'd pay more for a Provari than I did. I'd probably go as high as 250-300$ for just the device.
I'd also go as high as 70-80$ for a well made steel tank for it, even though I can make a syringe one for under a dollar.
I'd be happy to go outside with my ProVari Mini and a steel tank. I'd never do that with lavatube and syringe tank. So, happy vs never equals how much dollars?
But again, thats just me. And tons of others that actually used Provari. I understand you don't feel the same, being the one that just saw it on the computer screen.
I'd like top quality near my face. Not a tradeoff. Definitely not 4 tradeoffs, or how much LTs you think one Provari can buy. Its my face, its my addiction, and finally its my hobby. Show me better and safer VV device, and I'd think about leaving Provari, and even paying more. Don't show me "half there", or "almost there", as that doesn't cut it even when given for free.
Show me the numbers where the Provari is safer than a LT..I haven't even heard of either of these devices venting a battery..both these devices seem to do overkill on safety and that's good..if one ever did vent I would think more than likely because of a battery issue over the devices. I'm sure the LT probably has a higher failure rate because it's more mass produced but both are mass produced..but reading these forums I haven't seen many posts of either device failing much.
In my book, Darwin is the only one that can sit next to Provari in VV department, but I still prefer steel, and PV looks. This LT preaching is a bit annoying. And funny, when button is being mentioned so many times. If Provari initially came with 4 buttons with wires inside, and 1 button version was an option, I'd pay for that 1 button option. Says the guy that actually used that one button.
