The labels being removed probably has to do with (edit: the manufacturer's) MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) requirements more than something being a factory second. I know there are companies who don't "officially" sell products to fasttech for a variety of reasons. From what I've read, the general consensus of opinion seems to be that those companies don't want to be boycotted by the vendors in America and other countries.

I quote you "Where is the proof"? There is none so it is all speculation.
I've made it quite clear what is speculation, (see the bolded parts of my quote). As for my statement "I know there are companies who don't "officially" sell products to fasttech for a variety of reasons," that is quite clear on the site itself. If something is labeled as "Authentic" it is an authentic product, ordered from the manufacturer or an authorized reseller. This has been confirmed by fasttech staff, and is something that is well known to people who shop on FastTech.

There are products which have been confirmed as authentic "brand name" products by people doing direct comparisons of the products in question. The simplest explanation is that FastTech cannot advertise the product as official because then they would be required to price it at the manufacturer's minimum allowed pricing. There could be other reasons, and I didn't deny that.

So after all this we are still back to we just don't know! (sigh) I've had a bad experience with SVD's from them and others seem to report most of the "problem childs" were purchased at FastTech. I believe there may have been revisions to correct problems. Could have been old stock. Who knows? I like FasTech. It is just I have three months shipping involved for the same item kind of makes me wary of ordering mods from them. Returns are just a hassle and the cost of the return itself. OK here is another theory. Did you notice the Sigleli SX20 hit FastTech at the same time as dealers with a huge discount price? Conspiracy theory #999. Manufacturers dump first runs on them cheap to deal with the bugs. Works for me!

I use Efest 1100 mAh IMR 18500 about 70% of the time. One will last me about 6 hours. I vape 2.5 ml per day at 6.5 watts with a 2.0 ohm single coil carto. I run my batteries from 4.2V to 3.2V. I've read several post by people who have noticed that IMR batteries do not perform at full capacity when new. I have seen this too. New IMRs reach full capacity after being charged a few times.

Higher ohms will last you considerably longer. 2.8 - 3.2 @ 8 watts will probably last 25% longer with the same vape. A 1000 will not last very long at that vaping rate. Stacked 350s at 1.8-2.2 will last you probably 3 times as long @ 8watts. 12hrs+

If you get. 4 hrs on 18500 you'll get 7-8 on 18650, & 12-14 on stacked 18350s . Dual coils do have a higher load on the battery.

Yes, it's an entirely different rig from the Sigelei Zmax series. That power level is of no interest to me. I vape 6.5 watts and don't like anything over 8 watts.

We agree on this. I wish to see improvement on quality of vaping in the lower watt/volt range rather than reinventing lightning.

Does your Nitecore charge the Efest 18650 30A 2100mAh to 4.2V? I read somewhere that some chargers may terminate the 30A Efest batteries higher than 4.2V.

The proof. The Zmax V5 has been vaping this stock 1.5ohm dual coil iClear at about 6 watts and *just* dropped as I hit 600 vapes (a full 10 seconds each!) on one charge of the Orbtronic SX30 18650 high Drain 30A hybrid which is (only) rated at 2100mAh. People, that's 6000 seconds total button time!!! :2c::vapor:
