Well damn, I was confused AG! I read the entire thread last night before I figured out which atty Clouds of Vapor was selling. I ordered two of the 1.5's because that's what I prefer on my Woodvil but I didn't see a mention of a discount code. Maybe I missed it, oh well.
Anyway, I do wish it would have been as simple as just making up my mind on whether or not to try these new attys. Oh no! I had to read all about some beta atty that some guy has been testing for someone else just to find out if I wanted to buy a new type of atomizer from Clouds of Vapor.
Well AG, it's not your fault that someone decided to spam this thread. I am looking forward to trying these new attys. It's too bad about the confusion. I hope others were not as confused as I was.

..came to the thread to read about the hybrid atty selling at COV....then had to read about a different atty thats going to sell at another vendor..huh?..after all that....I ordered three 2.0's and one 1.5 ...I can't wait to try them..thanks AG..
Looks like to me that great minds think alike! I think the inovations are pretty cool.
OK guys---here's a bit of scoop -- I have a production run drip style atty -- the Hybrid 510/306 atty. I've had it less than a day and have only used it on the VMOD (with AW protected batteries) as that's the only bottom feeder I have with a well. I think you are all going to like the drip style as it really helps when you flood the atty. Not used to squonking ,so I can flood very easily!
I barreled through the 3 mil bottle quite easily---uh, a little too easily----HAD to take a break! (I used a BWB tobacco) That's about the most I can say about performance -- it means to me that I was getting more vapor than "usual" easier---not that its a juice hog.
Can't give much more than newbie speak as I haven't used much in the way of 306's to be able to compare.
I used the 2.0 version and found it plenty warm----but, I can't handle 1.5 on anything! YMMV
My guess -- if you are interested in what all has been said above -- it's certainly well worth checking it out.
And, for the bottom feeding 510 carto people that might be reading -- the carto version is nice. It's a tiny little thing that feeds really well----Should say -- feeds really well on the system it was designed for. I'm liking the 2.2 and it is warmer and more plume than Boge 2.0 on other devices.

I love my Vmod too!..I'm using the 2.0 carto now and can't wait to put a hybrid atty on it...its a brilliantly designed feed system thats very user friendly.
It is tiny but produces clouds of vapor....a great mod that works the way its supposed to!...

Ordered mine yesterday and already stalking the USPS tracking. I hope these work as well or better than Cisco 306 1.5s. I'll be happy to eliminate the dewicking and debridging steps.

They have no primer in them.
The Hybrid is different than either a 510 or a 306. It has an easy draw, lots of vapor, & great flavor. IMO, the Hybrid is a great atty.

I've came to my senses and I will wait till everyone else gets a few before buyin them out.
Personally I couldn't care if there put together here, China, or freaking east jabipp, the Chinese put them together by hand too, and the ones Bruce had put together where done in China too, $15-$20 for an Atty that cost $2 wholesale in China and selling for $15 - $20 if that is the price of the 357 they wont be getting my CC for them, that's just absurd in my opinion, ya people will disagree and maybe I will catch grief for this post but geese cmon now it is a 306 in a 510 tube and also has one les part the bridge, Im just not paying it and even if there a little bit better there not all new technology in my opinion and worth $15 a piece. Just as everything else falls in price so will these or China will end up making the same thing,,, as well so is one of the other Atty vendors here on ECF who I personally think makes the best Attys may be making something like these too, I say yeild if there $15-$20 ea, just my opinion of course so go ahead spank me

They know they can charge whatever they want and people will buy them too, but to much is just to much in my opinion, I usually step up to the pump but $15-$20 that's a ridiculous price and robbery for a 306 in a 510 tube with no bridge and a bit different of a spec. I think Bruce is much more fair at his $8.99 on these.

I agree 100% Matt. No real new technology just a new configuration, same basic material and if there buying in bulk there getting them cheep.
I am not going to buy in to another hype game as we or some of us did back when the first LR 510 attys came out.
Just my 2c and I am sticking to it. When the price comes down I will give it a shot not before.
I aint all that smart when it comes to modding my own stuff so I just wait till someone else does it and then pay for it if I believe its priced right, if it isn't...I go another route. I will say the dripper in me is drooling over this concept and the silo version actually got me somewhat intrigued about bottom feeder mods now, oh boy.
Guess I'll be the Guinea Pig for those of you who are not ready to try one.
I was a guinea pig for the Hybrid, & I don't think for $8.99 (less 10% BIGBUYER discount), anyone will be disappointed.
I'm really looking forward to recieving mine. I think the price is exactly what it should be. Yeah, I would like to buy them for $3.99, who wouldn't, but sh** a Cisco cost the same as these Hybrids! I buy Cisco's because I want to put the best atty I can get, at a reasonable cost, on my Woodvil. I hope these compete well with Cisco. It's good for everyone to have a choice imho. I'll still be depending on my LR 1.5 510's and 306's from AV but it would be nice to have another atty to run that I look forward to putting on for a change of pace. All I have now for variety is the 510 and 306 on my Woodvil although my native 801 Woodvil (an ancient beast) is always full and ready on my coffee table for enjoyment. What I'm saying is, I've found that a switch of attys on my mod makes my day a better day. I can't wait to try these Hybrids! Thanks to COV!
