Hi Violet! I don't know what I'm doing or not doing, but I keep getting massive vapor. My draws are approximately 2 seconds and just a sort of soft draw (not terribly light, and certainly not a strong pull).

Also, my Mini seems to be self-feeding and even if I do squonk, I don't sense it in the atty. Nevertheless, there's plenty of juice in it, and the juice in the bottle of the Mini is reducing.

It all seems a bit magical right now. As I said, this is Day 6! Imagaine tomorrow ;)

I'm Assuming you have the BF's right Kat? Mine are stiff draws so I have to go slow but I have regs.

I agree with Magnus on the quality control issue. I ordered two 1.5 bottom feeders and the one I sent back measured 2.8 ohm's. The one I kept measured 1.7 and is vaping and holding up very well but I would still like to try them at 1.5 ohm's. I ordered two more today and in the note with my order I asked Bruce if he would check them before sending them to me. I sent an email to COV before I returned the one and also left a phone message but so far I haven't gotten a reply from either.

LNate, did you adjust the center pin at all? AG posted specifics on this. I dunno, but perhaps that might help?

Hello Reet of Reo fame! Remember me?

I'm using the non BF so I didn't think any adjustment was necessary...

Don't get me wrong. It works well, but I'm reading all these posts about short draws and columns of vapor and it makes me wonder.

Behind you
Early this morning I fired up the standard once more and it's still alive.

---

Got started on the bottom-feeder version after seating it, or at least trying to, and so far, so good. It does feel a bit loose and airy to me though but the anti-flood and reflow feature works exactly as described. That's cool. I mean I could adapt to the different feel easily for the range it allows me to have with feeding/overfeeding.

It kinda sits what appears about half-a-thread higher than the standard in the same cup and connector. It's seated as far as I can get it. It's not causing a problem at this point but I wonder if it will. -Magnus

I dont know, I have been vaping my reg's for a couple hrs a night on several PV's but I havent gotten to some of the wow performance others have. I tried the slow soft draw and my pin is a bit in from the thread but it still fires. The taste is ok but the vapor is really lacking. IDK, I'm going to pop the second reg on and see if there is a difference if I cant get this one to puff good tonight.

Are the BF's better than the reg's?

I have found that once an atty gets quite warm, its best to let it completely cool down and repeat...this is how I get the longevity out of any atty. So far the 1.5Ω has exceeded my expectations for sure, awesome throat hit, great vapor production, great flavor and these actually cool down much faster than regular atties.

I'd give this hybrid a 5 on a scale from 1-5 but this is just day one and will keep ya'll updated on my experience of these.

I just put a brand new 1.5 bf on my Reo mini and then pressed the button (after priming) and then smoke came out of the body of the reo and the spring had collapsed. What is the cause of this?

Kind of nervous to try it on my other mini now, should I be?

Thankfully that didn't happen to my Darwin. 8-o
