My standard is still going strong and I've given it a cleaning and tried some trouble juice from AVE in it. If it works this way for about two weeks, given my past history, then it'll be well worth the investment. -Magnus

I'm thinking the price of HH might have something to do with that.
Cos just mentioned in the HH thread it easily bested the Vapage solution.. I'm hoping he'll expand. It's quite an investment in comparison, yes. -Magnus

Ok folks, breakthrough at Trev's house:
Solid metal, not just sealed, 510 Extension + Bottom Feeder Hybrid + Empire Drip Shield.
The vents let juice in and out of the shield like a mini bottom fed tank.
The shields restricted airflow tightens up the draw.
Dripping 7-10 drops at a time and getting MANY big thick draws before needing to drip more.
I know lots of you have drip shields.

Any recommendations on how to get a good zoom focus on the coils? I want to show y'all something.. Do some of us have different numbers of coils wrapped on this thing? -Magnus
I'm going to have to borrow a friend, their DSLR, and their know-how.... hrmm. I will make a new friend at Best Buy. -Magnus
If you only need a camera for this purpose maybe a compact camera with macro function on it will do. They are cheaper
I'm very interested in hearing how this works.
The Res system should work extremely well with the Hybrid, based on what I know about it.
Please report back after you have tried it.
ME I have the 2.0 ohm reg. 510 Hybrid and the coil is wrapped around the wick only three times and the coils are all on one side, not centered.
MagnusEunson - What are you using to take pictures? If you can set camera to "no autofocus" kind of setting. Place the camera steady and focus on the coil by moving the atty by hand until focus is achieved. Having a good light is helpful to. I hope you figure out what I mean
My two that died after 4hrs and 2hrs were also the 2.0 ohm reg. 510 Hybrid and each of them clearly have 4 wraps around the wick.Both sloppy,not centered and on one of them the coil is all pushed together and the wick against the cup.Where do I send these to,I contacted COV with no reply yet 2 days ago.
