Weird, i have not had a single problem filling blanks with 50/50 ...

I don't use the condom method, I just drip 10 drops around the edge on the first go, then 5 at a time after that.
I let them sit, and I do it over a few hours time frame.

every one has tasted great right out of the box.

I will say not everyones VG is the same. I have 100% VG juices from several places and some is MUCH MUCH thicker than others.

I love these cartos :)

I am still having a burnt taste myself on the new blanks I received last week and I have tried everything, and yes I am using 50/50 FSUSA juice. 2 of the cartos blew after about 2 hits so that was a definite waste of money. I agree with the OP that I'll go back to other cartos for flavor and hopefully Leaford will get this figured out someday and I will purchase again. The prefills are fine but I am not crazy about the taste. I want to use my OWN juice! If this problem can be corrected I'll go back to the MF's as these are the best I have ever tried when they work- I just can't keep spending money on a pack of 5 and being lucky enough to get ONE to work!

Thanks NDShift,

I want to try Boba's in the worst way, but it's 100% VG, so I didn't think there was any way it would work with Bloog Carts

was thinking the same thing, since its so thick it is usually problematic with cartos... works well, just as expected doesnt wick too well with the thick juice, so either top off a lot, or i fill two and swap between them to let the other one wick.

When suppliers have been delivering their juices for a long time with no problem, I don't think they want to change formulas because of problems with 1 supplier's cartos. The real issue IMO is that blanks "should" work with any juice or they should carry a disclaimer warning the consumer about potential problems with "some" juices. Trust me, I love MF cartos when they work. I have been with my juice supplier for a long time and am not about to start trying other's juices again. That was a painful and expensive journey. As a Bloog affiliate, I am concerned about losing business because of this problem. I think Bloog should be concerned too, otherwise the brand becomes exclusive to a smaller population of users.

Anyone that has ever tried a certain product and moved on to something they like better should understand. As a consumer, I don't want to be the product tester at my own expense.

That's good to know. It's certainly worth getting a little bottle and giving it a try.

I believe your points are understood. It just seems your experience is not universal. From your web site it seems you are an affiliate for several e-cig companies, so hopefully this won’t affect your income too much. Wishing you the best.

They are the same cartos as the pre-filled so it seems like the people having troubles might have filling issues.

I've used 11 out of 25 blanks I received and everyone has performed perfectly.

As far as a disclaimer, I don't think thats needed.
Every type cartomizer has issues with certain juices IMO.
These work better than the E2s with thicker juices.

Even atomizers have trouble if the juice is too thick. I have VG from one supplier that is so thick it never ever reaches the coil.... it just sits there while you fry your wick. I have to mix that to at least 50% PG to even vape.

22-25 drops over a period of two hours or so, and vape away.
I fill 3 or 4 at a time so some of mine sit for a day or two before first use.

Hi guys.

Trichman, I'm sorry to hear that you're still having the problem with the new cartos, but I am working on it.

I had a really good meeting the other day about the issue. They claim to have already tested their cartos with a variety of PG/VG ratios and say that that is not the problem. I am not just taking them at their words, of course, and they are going to give me a testing plan in the next few days for us to review all the variables (PG/VG ratio, carto resistance, battery voltage, etc) and nail this down.

Their suspicion, for what it's worth, is that the culprit is the voltage. It turns out, and I was totally surprised by this as they had not told me before, that their integrated IC/switch also includes a voltage regulator which limits the voltage to 3.6v output. Which fits with the reports of people experiencing the burnt taste when using other companies batts, and with passthroughs. But I believe we've also had reports of it with our batteries as well, and besides even if that is the case, people WILL be using our cartos with other batts and with passthroughs, so we have to make sure they work with them, too.

I still think the solution will be in raising the carto resistance, and they have a plan for doing that now, but of course we will have to test them thoroughally before making any changes, keeping in mind that we do not want to sacrifice performance.

No idea what all that means, but I just wanted to say, please don't change anything about the batteries! I think they work perfectly just the way they are!

Instead of raising the resistance for all cartos, why not offer two versions, e.g. 2.6-2.8 ohms & 2.8-3.0 ohms. I've been using the MF bats with MF carto, ikenvape carto and turbonine carto. So far I really enjoy the MF cartos, very good vapor & a nice warm taste. The IKV & turbonine vapor isn't as good partly due to the higher resistance, they are around 3.1-3.3 ohms and the favor is cooler, therefore less throat hit. So by offering two versions, it will give us (consumer) choices, and choices are good :)

My folks tried the Velvent Vapors that they ordered in the Velvet blend which is PG/VG and no burnt taste at all on a pack of the newest cartos which have the resistance labeled. About 30 drops went into the carto. Gonna grab a V4L bottle as well and see what happens with that. They have also experienced zero burnt taste with any of the prefilled (kamel primarily) cartos.

I'm so glad to hear Leaford is on the case. Just don't lose the performance! I agree that offering two ohm ratings would be superior to losing the performance we have on these relatively-low resistance cartos now.

I received my BWB juices today (five different flavors) and I've tried three of them in BMF cartos. All are 70/30 blend.

They vape absolutely fantastic. Huge plumes of vapor (probably due to the VG content more than anything else), great flavor and absolutely no burnt taste. Don's 555 is delicious. I've been told these get a lot better with a week or two of steeping, but they are just great right out of the mail, with a born-on date of 2/15/11.

Too bad I only got 10ml of the 555. So far it's by far my favorite refill juice.
