THANKS ! ! ! Of Course I do not enter FB Contest (matter of fact, thought I never would enter any FB Contest) as much as "Karen" and her crew does (and some other people I know from ECF) . . . I even have stopped entering the "e-liquid" ones since - IMO - most of them are the same and they require to many repost and tagging of other people . . . :( I will only enter the "e-liquid" Contest that I know I can trust the vendor and/or a Friend has strongly recommended . . . :)

AND - "Lox" - I truly understand "Your" frustration with FB and all the "Sharing" of post - that is why before I started entering any contest on FB, I removed all personal information I could, and set privacy levels to high, and removed any/all links to any "Family"/"Friends" - other then ECF Friends . . . So Now - "My" FB page is only for "eCig" and vaping Contest and everyone there knows that these vendor contest are only for promoting their business . . . SO All Good . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

"You're" One To Talk . . . ;)

I love you! I am so happy you won! You all know me too well!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your win uncle. I have the green k1000 its nice in my opinion. Although as long as something works im happy with it.

Heads up the stem is 510 drip tip. Not sure what topper device you normally use but on my protank 2 it will not fit far enough in to seal. In my hypertank it fits and works but has a few mm gap that can look odd.

THANKS - It looks like I'm gonna have to do some more research then, since I have a lot of Pro-Tanks/Minis v1 & 2 and I am not sure what else I have available that I trust not to leak that would work with this model . . . Hopefully, they are going to send something with the Pipe besides just the bowl piece (I had to PIF the last Pipe bowl I WON in a contest here on ECF for the same reasons - A Real Nice Wood One too - because I didn't have anything that would work with it at the time and I couldn't afford to purchase a lot of "Stuff" to go with it either) . . . Oh Well - I'll see what happens . . .

it should come with its own top coil tank (like a vivi nova i think? its the x6 tank if im remembering correctly). i think if i changed the oring on the drip tip it may seal properly but it wouldnt sit flush. the pipe has a wierd 510 connection. the 510 connection unscrews from the pipe, you screw that onto your topper, then screw the 510 part back onto the pipe until the center pins touch. you could also use any drip tip, doesnt have to be the pipe stem one. i like it but need to rebuild my protank coils for it again. out of the resistance that plays nice at 4 volts. (most of mine are 1.5 and thats a tad high to use on a mech for full power, i use a VV device normally and use lower voltage.)

at.jpg
that is the tank that comes with it (spring center pin..) and on the left the 510 connector. so imgaine the tank is your protank, you threw those two together, then screw that onto the pipe. then insert drip top to face the right way (if i have the drip tip in before i screw it together it never faces the right way lol)

I agree Lox, I am finding them to be far too time consuming and it really appears to me that to win anything you have to tag a zillion people multiple times every day. For starters I can't remember more than a few names to tag and when I was trying it was taking hours and hours every day and I wasn't getting anything else done at all.

I solved the notification part by creating an account just for the contests because I get yelled at every time I post or share anything on my normal account, Cliff gets ticked by everything in his timeline that he isn't interested in as well as every email he gets that he didn't solicit. He is absolutely unreasonable about such things so I knew better than to use any account he might get a notification for.

Like Uncle I rarely enter any of the juice contests because I don't want a bunch of sample sizes of juice from places I never heard of. I have reached a point where I pretty much know what I like and what I don't so I'm not searching for juice any more.

If they would make the contests so that you were allowed one entry only and maybe tag one friend I would change my mind, but the way they are now you have to spend so much time entering and trying to keep track of things that you don't have time left to live your life. For the most part the same people keep winning everything over and over and over and it just isn't worth it to me to spend so much time for nothing.

I'm seriously considering closing that account and possibly figuring out a way to block them from my normal FB account.

I'm really happy for those of you here who are winning and I'm not anti contest at all, but I have other things I need to be doing that have been neglected for too long already.

Congrats Uncle :toast:

I'm about done with Facebook contests :glare: 0 for 1000 and now and my timeline looks like a poster for a nicotine junkie

Currently debating whether to sell or just trash my vaping gear... I'd rather just be done with it and go back to smoking. Nothing complicated, just easy and lazy.

Gonna think for a while, later folks

Been there recently. Multi task while smoking, easy.
Multi task with a battery hanging on your chin, needing a 3rd hand to have a finger to press the fire button only to find your coil/wick needs a good cleaning, not easy or satisfying at all.
I truly believe vaping is trading 1 habit for another and at times the most destructive of the 2 seems the best habit to do because it's easiest and least frustrating
What helped me decide was going back to my simplest setup,a 650 eGo battery and upping my nicotine for a few days. I still keep a tank of 12mg strawberry tobacco in a T2 tank with me for the times when 3mg doesn't work. For me it's not the nicotine itself but the harshness of a higher nicotine combined with strawberry tobacco. Other flavors didn't do what I needed.
I broke down Monday and bought a pack of smokes, basically chain smoked half the pack, gave the rest away. I was so blankety blank sick of rainy weather/cabin fever I decided to do something destructive , go outside and smoke in the rain.

I would have totally gone outside in the rain and smoked with you! And, you have intrigued me with your mention of strawberry tobacco. It never occured to me that the two would taste good together! Is that DIY or where did you get it from?

Oh, and I'm still hanging in there. Thanks to the good wishes in this thread, and even through pm's, I'm getting through this one. Got some more WTA winging it's way to me, still have enough left to last me a couple days, life is good. Thanks for listening!

I mixed some Killer Juice brand RY4 and Ripe Strawberry. 85/15 RY4/RS . Killer Juice tobacco flavors go after the tobacco smoke taste and not the leaf. The RY4 has a harshness of tobacco smoke with a slight creamy caramel hit. Mix in the strawberry to get a strawberry/vanilla/caramel/sweet/tart taste that kicks my taste buds in the buttocks while giving me the self destructive feeling I wanted by the harshness of the tobacco smoke. That's the best I can explain the flavor.
Glad you made it over the hump. I'll get back on track as well, just needed to hang with my old buddy, cigarettes, for a little bit.

Just as a heads up yes I am still vaping and 85 percent of the problem is at home and 10 percent at work and 5 percent is vaping

I feel your pain/frustration. Mine is 99% home life.

In my case its not really vaping that is the issue but things at home. Tough to get away from someone you live with...

Sorry to hear your having a rough go of it. I don't know how it'll turn out. A lesson I have to keep learning over and over is to be true to myself and that seems to be real easy to loose sight of in the middle of things. I'm wishing you the best, no matter what.

Congrats Uncle!

I can relate. I wish I'd set up a seperate page like you did and I'd advise anyone who is just starting out to do that. I thought it was a brillant move.

But I didn't. Most of the people I'm in contact with are "friends". I don't post publically. When a contest asks to share, I just tag one person (unless they ask for 2, rare) and share to one of a million other groups ' contest sharing, crazy vapors, etc. The groups are automatically public posts. When I "like" I will immediatley "unfollow" at the same time. I've never seen a contest require me to follow. On my newsfeed, some still appear (but they aren't on my timeline to friends) and I "unfollow" them there too.

My friends would instantly complain if I sent them spam. I'd do the same for them too. I also don't allow posts to my timeline other than from people designated as "friends". There's a lot that can be done through settings, both the one next to my name in the upper right and if I open the menu in the friends section on the left side (I forget that one). It's also possible to make a custom group list and stop all notifications (on the left side).

Any public post share goes to a contest group only. But it is time consuming. I go in twice/week and hit what I can, only what I'm honestly interested in and let the rest go. If I win, it's gravy. I really need tank, atomisers right now and those aren't as common.

I don't have the funds to buy what I need when I need it. This helps. If I could afford to be picky, nope, I wouldn't bother. I got a spinner one week after my last spinner died. I'm not complaining.
:vapor:
I haveta admit that I miss Karen's smiling face hanging around here.

i am here Aik, just been waiting around for everyone, I will not go away just because of FB this is home, that is home too. they are different. I can let my hair down here, there it's all smoke and mirrors! Although I do get a little nastier there if I see people doing wrong, you saw that today, my little tirade
That was about a vendor that said people shouldn't pif to those that can't afford to vape, i thought my blood pressure would hit the ceiling. Anyway many said what had to be said, her business will suffer for her words foolish that was TRINITY VAPORS, do not purchase from them. She said that PIF people were all scammers, if they could afford to smoke they could afford to vape, that isn't always true as we all have learned things happen sometimes that we don't expect. She deleted the posts but damage was done because she put the post up to begin with.

Same vendor begged for help for her sick dog for money , did as raffle, later posted that she was seeking alternative therapy. SO does that mean she shouldn't have the dog if she can't afford to get it vet care?

I wrote a scathing reply she never answered mine. oh and the PIF program here saved not only me, but my friends, I passed on whatever I couldn't use to them. I have one friend that was collecting cigarette butts from the garbage and ashtrays so he could continue to smoke when he couldn't afford it. He has all my old ego style equipment now, I fill the attys for him, he can't do it has what looks like parkinsons. Hasn't worked in 3 years for anyone, That's the guy that comes to help me when he can do housecleaning.

Everyone needs to try and help people when they can its so important. I gave him a place to live roommates brothers house down the block was empty anyway, I make sure he eats, gets clothing from the church, I got him his food stamps, I am trying to get him as much help as possible, When I get money I will help him out a bit more. this is my PIF plus a few other things planned.

I have heard that opinion before. Pbsurado has a page on why people shouldn't PIF equip/supplies to those that are broke. My mouth dropped. It's insane. I know many people can not afford even a basic ego kit to see if it'll work for them while they are still spending $50/wk on smoking. That's a big hurdle. Add to that, the war on the poor that's going on right now. It's nice to find a corner of the world free of all that animosity and bitterness. I don't want to screen everyone. If they say they need it, then they probably do. I prefer to think most people are honest and let those who aren't be judged by someone else other than me.

Wealth is a matter of perception anyway. There are millionaires who feel poor. There are those without a penny that feel rich. All I know is that I'm in no place to be a judge of anyone.

I will always remember Panda Ecigs for their program of free starter kits promo just to get as many smokers vaping who wanted to try them. I'd like to see more of that. I think it'd be wonderful for the community. Kudos to the local vape meet because they do pass out free ego kits and eliquids to anyone who wants them.

Hi all. Just popping in to see how everyone is. Still glad I do not do Facebook from what I am reading here.

So sorry you are having a tough time of it, Etherealink.

Congratulation, Uncle. Sounds like a nice win.

I have been working on our taxes for past two days. Could not find last year's returns because of the construction mess. Found it. Still working on this year. Ugh and Bah!

Also trying to hire the contractor's to get work really started. Having trouble with their timing. Wrong ones can start now. One I need to start first is booked up for a while. More Ugh and Bah!

Off to play with more tax code..........
