Sharri, those qualities are perfect for telecommuting. Lol. Plus not having to get dressed for work. Only problem I had with working from home was using the slow cooker for dinner. Drove me up the wall smelling it all day.

Im having a issue with some of my juices giving me a scratchy throat. Same nic and pg/vg so it must be a flavoring.

I did do a check on some telecommuting a while back. With no Degree and aged skills and the laws different in every state, it did not seem to be a great fit at the time. I will have to revisit it. Medical tech is pretty much the same everywhere, same with IT. Legal stuff is different in every state, especially civil procedure. The Federal stuff is out of my league and would require a degree. Too old to go back to school, even online. I am almost 60. I would be dead by the time I would have my degree.

Another reason to grab all the opportunities you can while you are young.

Scratchy throat could also be a different topper or coil build. I find that I get a sore throat when using my Igo-L and not with my 510 attys or the R91. I think it is how I have to inhale. Any cinnamon at all will kill my throat right away. I can not vape it.

Same tank and coil I have been using. Scratch feeling goes away when I change flavors. Dunno. I do mouth to lung. Was never a lung hitter. Can lung hit with low nic or certain flavors at any nic.

I would put you in touch with the company I did remote tech support for but since I left they have lowered the requirements (no more IT experience or certification needed) and dropped pay twice after renaming the title. Used to be almost 15/hour for the shift I worked. Now it would be 11/hour. I worked evenings to early morning. Was in the middle of the two higher shift premiums. Most of the job was walking people to the website to run software so I could connect, then talking them through setting up wireless network, then how to connect computers to it. A few were virus removal. Start automated tests and try to get customer to hang up so I could watch YouTube or music videos for the 45 minutes it took rather than have to do small chat (which im horrible at, if you had the unlimited support plan I would ask if you had any questions I could answer while we waited and open a new ticket for it so its logged.), then remove issues and call back customer.

Figured out my mint chocolate chip diy needs some vanilla and cream flavor to make it shine. Otherwise the mint is overpowering.

I can relate to that. When I was in CT I was taught to do things a certain way and I worked for very aggressive attys for almost 10 years. Moved to TN and I feel like I do not fit in at all. Almost like a foreign country sometimes. My assertiveness and take charge approach to a problem is offputting here. Or so I have been told. Never told this face to face. Just through a couple of friends. It was the way to do business in CT and Silicon Valley, not here I guess. So I just shut up and don't socialize much, which I can get away with since I am not working out here. That is probably one reason I could not find a job in my field here.
Defiantly a culture shock! Ii hear you! I mean I have been working since I was 14, moved to Kansas city from dc when I was 25 so it is hard to not be aggressive and passionate. I am who I am and take things head on have been told here that that is my "downfall" hahaha. Oh well, no one said life is easy, but my dad told me to make the best of it and to do all I could so there's that!
I saw you mention taking a part time gig at a vape shop I think that's a killer idea!

Congratulations on you first DIY juice!! I still haven't ventured into that arena. I have a hard enough time finding vendor juices that I like. I can't imagine being able to come close to that. It's a shame I don't like simple flavors either...it would be so much easier.

Haha I hear you on that, I thought many times about doing DIY juice but I think I would get obsessive about it, and I wou
D get frustrated too not make the juices I already like lol

Just curious but what flavoring is it? I have a horrible time with cinnamon...and caramel...weird but true!

Oh man Shari hang in there it will get better. HUHS

For any that are interested here is a kitchen update. Granite purchased. Had to wait for sink and faucet to be delivered and signed for, of course they were shipped separately and took up two days of waiting for a delivery. You would think I would be used to waiting for deliveries with all the vaping stuff I buy.

1100 feet of Amish oak hardwood flooring was delivered by the contractor starting Monday. Took 2 days and two trips. Of course, DH had to help bring it in since the contractor did not have a helper. Also, of course, DH fell down the front concrete steps after done carrying a bunch of it. So, 1/2 day in urgent care for xrays on hip, left wrist and head and lots of various sized bandages. He is real sore, but fine outside of a mild concussion. He thinks he is superman. He is not. I direct traffic for these types of things. And conduct quality control.

Today is lawn and shrub maintenance day. DH is out there making sure the 2 guys do not cut down my roses and camellias and anything else that I will go nuts over if mowed down or too enthusiastically manicured with hedge trimmers. DH cut down my beautiful Harry's Walking Stick tree to about 2 feet high. He almost needed the ER on that day too. His reason was that the big leaves were getting into the pool that we do not even go in anymore.

I have been waivering between having a cigarette and beating a few select people with my Provari with an 18650 battery in it. I spent too much money on the Provari and the R91 to risk damage to it, or cause a malfunction by blood getting into the computer board. I know the repair would be cheap and quick, but I do not want to be parted from it that long.

I share your complex taste buds and it makes vaping life interesting to say the least. If you succeed at making CPBT be sure to let me know, I love that stuff and mine isn't even fully steeped yet.

I thought I was obsessed with making a good coil and getting the right amount of cotton. That quest continues. But this juice making business could turn into a real obsession. I like to cook and I can see the possibilities.

The money I could save if I could just make a couple of flavors that I really like. All that money freed up for other vape goodies or other things. I would be in vape nirvana. Drat my complicated taste buds!!!

Hello all! Long time no speak. I do read obsessively, but hardly find time to post. We are all hanging in there, the end of the school year approaches and things are iffy with both girls. I'm smoking one or two a day for right now, and don't even have the energy to beat myself up about it. It will pass, it usually does. I really wanted to post that so the new people will see that even with almost a year under my belt I'm still struggling with staying quit. Good luck!!

Hi, FQ! It's nice to see you post again and let us know you're still kicking. It's been said that quitting smoking is harder than giving up the hard stuff since the action is repeated so many times daily that it's deeply ingrained in every facet of our lives. I'm glad you're still fighting the good fight and I'm convinced you will emerge victorious.

I definitely will let you know. Do you know how much money I would save just being able to replicate that one flavor? I would be happy just coming a little close.

I just ordered 2 30ml bottle of TPA black tea flavoring, 2 30ml bottles of TPA double ry4, a 30ml of caramel candy and a 30ml of banana nut bread flavoring from Good Prophets. They are having a closeout sale on some of the diy flavors. So I am going to learn how to make Something I can vape, one way or another.

Glad you found the time to stop by and post. You do what you need to to get by. When the time is right you will be back to vaping more again. Stress is the worst. Hang in there.
