The wins seem to come in large numbers. I know some people win like all the time, but I really only dedicate about an hour a day with the contests so, can't complian!

It'll be challenging, since I've become obsessed, which is why I need to start limiting my contest participation! ;)

I was stuck half way between Ecigs and Analogs for awhile too, until I found the right juice that gave me a taste good enough to overcome the cravings.

I'm still searching. Meanwhile, I made the leap and have some WTA on the way. Fingers crossed!

I have been smoking a lot, just found out that work is basically screwing me over have been working a project for almost nine months and now the upper management has decided that the position is moving to a different department, and with a pay cut, so now I have to decide to stay where I am at and go back to my old job or move to the new position for less money, it pisses me off that I have worked so arched and made it successful when no one else could and now I just got kicked in the nether region!
So pisseed and frustrated! And my boss is ...... to they basically pulled the rug from her as well, ugh......
Anyway, last night I decided to clean out all of my tanks, restart some new flavors to try and get thru this without becoming a full time smoker again!

May the force be with you! :2cool:

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles at work. It can be very disheartening, especially when you've worked so hard. Stress can definitely cause a relapse in smoking habits when you're in the process of quitting. I'm glad to hear that you have a new resolve to continue vaping and not fall into becoming a full-time smoker. It's difficult at best, but I'm cheering for you and hoping everything works out well for you at work and in vaping.

The cards and package are in the hands of USPS via Priority Mail. Should arrive Friday. Thank you all for your participation and kindness and patience with me on getting this done. PMs have gone out to some of you. ECF only allows a PM to 5 people at a time. PITA and now I have better copy and paste skills. :D This should have gone out on Monday but if you read my next post you will hear my story and excuse on the extended delay. So much for dull moments for the forseeable future.

For any that are interested here is a kitchen update. Granite purchased. Had to wait for sink and faucet to be delivered and signed for, of course they were shipped separately and took up two days of waiting for a delivery. You would think I would be used to waiting for deliveries with all the vaping stuff I buy.

1100 feet of Amish oak hardwood flooring was delivered by the contractor starting Monday. Took 2 days and two trips. Of course, DH had to help bring it in since the contractor did not have a helper. Also, of course, DH fell down the front concrete steps after done carrying a bunch of it. So, 1/2 day in urgent care for xrays on hip, left wrist and head and lots of various sized bandages. He is real sore, but fine outside of a mild concussion. He thinks he is superman. He is not. I direct traffic for these types of things. And conduct quality control.

Today is lawn and shrub maintenance day. DH is out there making sure the 2 guys do not cut down my roses and camellias and anything else that I will go nuts over if mowed down or too enthusiastically manicured with hedge trimmers. DH cut down my beautiful Harry's Walking Stick tree to about 2 feet high. He almost needed the ER on that day too. His reason was that the big leaves were getting into the pool that we do not even go in anymore.

I have been waivering between having a cigarette and beating a few select people with my Provari with an 18650 battery in it. I spent too much money on the Provari and the R91 to risk damage to it, or cause a malfunction by blood getting into the computer board. I know the repair would be cheap and quick, but I do not want to be parted from it that long.

Times like this when I get real stressed out or angry is when I drip a higher mg nic (my last bottle of 24mg NLV Gold). The 24mg is really too strong for me now and I am finding the flavor even too strong, but it is what I quit on and that experience seems to put my mind back to my beginning vaping days. It appears to give me some comfort.

I swear there is no honor or loyalty left in American corporations or big business. Maybe it is my age showing, but I do not remember my father or uncles getting treated like pieces on a chess board or a commodity to be used and abused for the almighty dollar and bottom line. I saw this starting back in Silicon Valley in the late 1970s and it was only a matter of time before it spread to the rest of the country. Actually, it took longer than I thought it would.

I hope you make a decision that you can be at peace with. Sometimes money is not everything. An evil necessity.

 Shari! Better luck for the rest if the week!

Thank you for that kind thought and dream. I know better. I am hoping that this 3 week job does not turn into 3 months, but I am prepared for that. It probably will. I am just hoping that the job gets done and done right. My vision of right is a much higher standard than the contractors involved are expecting to do. They are in for a rude awakening if they think I/we will accept shoddy workmanship and the cheap cutting of corners. If nothing else, I am vigilant. DH is the softy and thinks he has to make friends with all the workers. So I have to try and herd cats and the male. I will be busy. I am also curbing my instinct to provide a spread of food and beverages every day. Trying to be a little professional about this.

The lawn guy just drove his enormous truck and trailer directly across the first 50 feet of our septic tank leach field. Hubby yelled so loud the guy drove off without getting paid. He is supposed to come back tomorrow and finish the job. He was told when he started working for us a couple of months ago where he could and could not drive his truck/trailer. Guess nobody makes notes on their customers and their needs/wants. So we will be watching for toilet overflows for the next weeks or so. It happened once before, years ago. Hope we escape this time. And the fun continues!

Wow, Shari! I'm so jealous of all the fun you're having. NOT!!

Hang in there, it can't last forever......hopefully. ;)

Oh, this is the story of my life. You guys do not know what joys you are missing on a daily basis. Wish I could get a part time job at a vape shop to keep me from all this entertainment. I can only laugh so much before my sides start hurting.

DH called the lawn guy to make sure he was not unduly upset by the yelling and arm waving. DH can be enthusiastic when needs be. The lawn guy assured DH that he would be back tomorrow to finish the lawn job.

I have decided to stay where I am at, money is not everything indeed, but it is nice to pay the bills and have some fun in this one life I have!
It will be a while before I get back to my old job!

Sheri I hope you have a better rest of your week! It sound eventful, and blood on a mod sounds perfectly fine, for all the stress you have been under!
Blood can always be cleaned off!

So, I attended my first DIY juice making class last night. There were only 4 of us that showed up. This is the first time I have broken out the nic concentrate and most of my flavors.

So of course what is the first from scratch juice I decide to make? My take on Ahlusions Caramel Pear Black Tea. With the Ejuice Me Up calculator it was much easier than I thought it would be. I had to guess at the flavor percentages, all TPA flavors. I used 60mg 50/50 nic and 5% black tea, 4% pear and 3% caramel. Made it at 12mg, 70/30.

After a good shake I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to dump it immediately. I tasted lots of pear and a little caramel, not any real tea. I am thinking that the tea is going to act like a tobacco and need to steep for at least a couple of weeks. I think I will need some more caramel too. Depending on where the flavors lead me, I may add a touch of brown sugar flavoring to the mix. It is labeled and put away and will be tasted every few days.

I do not think Ahlusion has anything to worry about from me. It was a lot of fun and I will play and make more flavors. I wish I like simple flavors and fruits. But I like the sweetened tobaccos and complex layered flavors so this will be another journey.

I am just hoping for something good enough to vape in those juice hog r91s. With my mindless vaping I can go through two tanks in a full day/night and that is 8 to 9ml of juice. Can not afford vendor juice at that rate. I can not imagine what would happen (juice consumption wise) with a dual coil so I will never use one.

For the actual juice making process: it is much easier than I anticipated. If you can follow a recipe in a cookbook, you can do this. You have to do it like you would make a cake though. You need to be precise with your measurements, especially with the nicotine base.

I thought I was obsessed with making a good coil and getting the right amount of cotton. That quest continues. But this juice making business could turn into a real obsession. I like to cook and I can see the possibilities.

The money I could save if I could just make a couple of flavors that I really like. All that money freed up for other vape goodies or other things. I would be in vape nirvana. Drat my complicated taste buds!!!

Thank you for your kind words, it is very frustrating, but everything happens for a reason, so maybe this is another life lesson for me! I am usually a pi in the sky thinker, and on the east coast being an outgoing employee was a bonu......here in the mid west it seems to be a curse!

I can relate to that. When I was in CT I was taught to do things a certain way and I worked for very aggressive attys for almost 10 years. Moved to TN and I feel like I do not fit in at all. Almost like a foreign country sometimes. My assertiveness and take charge approach to a problem is offputting here. Or so I have been told. Never told this face to face. Just through a couple of friends. It was the way to do business in CT and Silicon Valley, not here I guess. So I just shut up and don't socialize much, which I can get away with since I am not working out here. That is probably one reason I could not find a job in my field here.
