Lately, I've been having strong urges to smoke, even though last week was my 2 month quitversary. I've held strong. At this point, I know it's not the nicotine. It's tough, but I'm just sittin' with the thoughts and feelings and learnin' lots 'bout why I smoked.

I couldn't have quit smoking without the support I received from the folks here! Happy Holidays Everyone!

Hi. I also found the psychological aspect of quitting smoking much more difficult to get through than the physical cravings. Your mind is a powerful thing and can make the strangest of things become a trigger to want a cigarette. Everyone has their own little routines or tricks to power through those times. For me, it was just gritting my teeth and immediately getting busy with something that kept my mind and hands busy for as long as it took for that time to pass. Sometimes it just comes down to determination. And stubbornness for me.

Changing up your gear or juice can help too.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. You will do fine. Remember how far you have come and do not stress yourself out if you do have a cigarette over the holidays. This is a tough time of the year for a lot of people.

Thank you Shari. I've also noticed that, since my 2 month quitversary, I've been vaping less. No reason, just less. Which might account for the increased cravings, but I'm holding strong.

It was either Monday or Tuesday, I don't remember which now, I finally ordered some more WTA. This time I ordered from Aroma. So, we shall see. Today was horrid. I was around smokers all day, so guess what I did.

Eh. It's Christmas. Remember what Scarlett said, "Tomorrow is another day." You will do just fine. We all have those moments and times. It can be real hard to soldier through when it is a stressful time. And holidays are stressful even if we are enjoying them.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

To all my friends here. We are home and turned on the TV to watch the New Year ring in. Don't care for the music on all the Network channels so we are watching The Animal Planet channel series "North America" which is narrated by Tom Selleck. It is a beautiful and well narrated series regarding the wildlife of North America through the seasons. It is also very funny in places. Great music choices and script. Better than the party shows.

I hope everyone has a good evening and may the new year bring wonderous things your way.

Playing board games with girlfriends dad and sister. Girlfriend tried a pink mascato wine, confirming she doesn't like any kind of wine. Child went to sleep shortly after midnight. Tomorrow gotta catch up on tv shows.

Tried to rebuild my aqua tank, and I cant seem to find the right screwdriver I used last time. Coil is too but to wick without getting a choke point in the juice channel or shorting on the chimney. Grr. Will try now that its a new year later.

Needing to order more juice, but afraid if I order a large amount of a flavor I like that I will burn out on it. Need to try to diy more. Bought a box of rayon. None of you warned me how much a 3# box is... used some for Christmas decorations as snow for the figurines.

Thinking I might be able to enjoy a good cigar on special occasions now if im offered without the big cravings to buy cigarettes.

Found that I really Really REALLY like Alice in vapeland 15 foot falls (smores) flavor. Used the last of the bottle I had and contemplated adding pg to the bottle to see how much longer I can still taste it.

Happy New Year, y'all. We just got done with some blackeyed peas and pork .... and cornbread, so hopefully the blackeyed peas will bring the good luck they're supposed to. I just ordered 9 new flavors last night, so my new year will begin with some new yummy DIY, soon as it gets here; never takes too long from NC, and they'll be back at work tomorrow, so maybe early next week.

It kinda sucks that I brought in the new year at work, but I wouldn't have been doing anything at home anyway, so I might as well make the money. I haven't tried my Aroma juices yet. I don't know what is stopping me. Oh, that would be taking care of work business, but I'm sitting here at my desk vaping away, so it's not all bad.

I ordered from mothersmilkwta.com finally; got so annoyed with my last order from WholeCigs, I decided I'm not ordering from them anymore. I emailed them when my order hadn't shipped after a week, and got a song-and-dance about their TOS saying it might take them 7-12 days to ship -- yeah, I saw that alright, but it doesn't change the fact that there is NO good reason for it to take that long just to leave their shop. He also said he was about to ship everything and send out shipping notices, and if he actually HAD done that, I'd have gotten my order the day before xmas -- but he didn't ship or send the notice till 5pm the NEXT day, so I didn't get it till the day AFTER xmas -- that was just evil, like he just purposely delayed shipping one more day so I'd have to wait an extra 2 days to receive it.

That's cool. Since I didn't order until late on the 30th, I figured I'd have to wait till the 2nd just to see a shipping notice, but I got it this evening. The USPS of course has been on holiday for New Years, so it's just the "electronic notification," but at least it's out there; might, *might* be here as early as Saturday, but I'd think Monday more likely.

Bullcityvapor has been on hiatus all thru the xmas season, so they won't even *find* my order till they get back to work on the 2nd, but I bet they have a hell of a backlog of orders, so I might not see a shipping notice for a few days.

My biggest triggers after the physical stuff subsided was aggravation and boredom. And big news, good or bad. I either wanted to celebrate or console myself and that used to be with a cigarette first. So just breaking those old habits and teaching myself to vape or do other things during those times.

It is frustrating waiting for orders to be prepared and ship, especially during the holidays or sales. I can remember back to times when mail order would take 4 to 6 weeks so things have improved significantly in recent years. And I remember there was no such thing as tracking, that is a recent modernization.

Then again I am at an age where I will be telling my grandson stories of things that I grew up with that no longer exist. Shoot, there are things my son grew up with that no longer exist. This world is moving fast. I think I am glad that I am not a teenager today. A lot of things I took for granted all my life are no longer in existence or customs/fads have changed.

You know what really bugs me? If you say something about the Beatles... and the person you're talking to says "who?" (to which I usually respond, "No, not The Who, The Beatles!")

One time when my son was about 8-9 yrs old, he asks me in all seriousness, "Mom... did they have TV when you were a kid?" I wanted to slap him! I said "Yes, and on it, when *I* was 8 yrs old, I got to watch when they WENT TO THE MOON!" Little monster!
