He's a weird question. The 60/40 didn't bother me until I got a revolver battery. Is it possible that has anything to do with it?

not familiar with the revolver, what batt were you using before? and what is the revolver? Mah?

What did you set the voltage to?
what is your atty? and do you know the resistance?

I will try to answer these. I kept the voltage between 3.8 and 4.3
Atty? Ummmm dual coil? If that's the wrong answer I'm sorry. And resistance....well the coil in the tank is a 1.8 dual coil.

Lol sorry I'm still really really new at all this

no, don't be sorry this is how to learn, you answered right, 1.8 is the resistance.
For a bit try to stay between 3.7 and 3.9 with the resistance 1.8 you can usually go to 3.8 rule of thumb add 2.0 to the resistance you should be OK.

I don't think that was a problem, but your coils will burn out if you go too high, making juice cook too, that too can irritate your throat. But it still sounds like a PG allergy

I will add another option or two:

You can mix with another flavor of juice that is 100vg to lower the pg. You can really start playing and pick up some DIY flavors and vg and start making Frankenjuices. I have a couple of strong tobaccos that I can not tolerate well by themselves. I have a couple of DIY flavors and will put some of the juice in a 10ml bottle and add a drop or 3 of the DIY flavor and I end up with some pretty decent tasting juice. Vanilla or caramel or chocolate in coffee or tobaccos.

Oh, and to thin out a too thick 100vg juice, you can add a little (drops) distilled water or vodka to it. We have a few DIYers here that can tell you better how to do this stuff.

You have a few options: 1) you can just add VG plain no nic(cheapest option) lowering the NIC level as well as the flavor intensity 2) order the same juices in the right nic and change the ratio of the juice to a much higher VG or ) order All VG in the same flavor and nic if its available.

Well seems like I was doing that right then. I will just have to admit I'm allergic to pg :'( I feel defeated. I was really hoping that wasn't it. I was trying to think of anything else it could possible be. At this point I'm tempted to just go buy a pack until my juices come in and I can get some vg and nic to dilute the crap out of them lol

I made that up but I do think that I read that some vendor was naming their juices names like that. So not totally original, but I could not resist.

"Cinnamon is in their Unicorn Poopie juice or in their Angel's Farts juice",

Shari those sound wonderful!!!!!!!!!! LOL

many of us stopped smoking Packs and do RYO it makes you have to work for the cigarette. stick the PV in your mouth and vape while you roll. you might decide not to smoke the cigarette and vape instead!

I also recommend reading everything on here of interest, play with your equipment, stay focused on vaping. It keeps your mind off of smoking a bit.

I'm not even sure if this is gonna post right. I never use tapatalk (is that what the app is called?) its a little confusing. Ive lurked on this thread for the longest finally decided to post....something.
Thank you ShariR for leading me here I honestly thought I was the only person here who still smoked (of course trying my best not to.) I started vaping almost a year ago & yes I still have a few cigarettes a day sometimes its 5 some days it can go up to almost 10. I think it makes it harder that I live with a smoker & he thinks my "vaping" is silly.

Off topic question only cuz I was reading a little bit of the posts. If I build a single coil on my igo-w does it make sense its not giving off as much vapor as my iclear 16b seeing as its dual coil? I just feel like I can't get the building down very frustrating.

Thanks 4 the thread!

Well I'm off work tomorrow. Thank gosh cuz it's 3 am and I'd be in trouble if I had to work. I'll be heading back to the shop that mixes. She's been really helpful so far and I'll be getting here to help alot. I'm afraid to diy juices just because I'm so new to vaping. Not even 2 weeks in. I think I'm gonna try to go to bed and get my mind off things. Thanks for the help guys! I'll be back Tom :)

CB, I agree with Karen on the voltage to keep your revolver at: 3.7 or 3.8ish. From what I read dual coil attys will burn through juice faster than a single coil. What is your topper? Is the coil on the top or the bottom? If it is a top coil, you need to keep tilting and twirling the device to keep those coils wet with juice. If you get a dry hit it will taste nasty and if you burn that coil it will need to be changed. Your revolver battery sounds like a rebranded Twist or Spinner vv battery.

Tobaccos and coffees tend to like higher voltages to taste their best. The chocolates and fruits I think like lower voltages (cooler). I keep getting this confused. The 100vg may burn at higher temps so thin it with distilled water or vodka or use lower voltage. Karen, chime in on this please. Want to make sure I am not steering her wrong.

Welcome Monica! Sorry, I haven't gotten that far yet. I love Icear 16's so I would use that till I sorted out the coils.
YOu will find vapors at every stage here. Some smoke, some finally quit, some like myself might never get this down all the way but I went from 3-4 PAD down to just about a PAD, so , while I still want to quit, its a lot less.

i'm sure someone will come along and help you with the coil issues

Definitely RYO... it works for me that while I'm rolling I'm vaping & most times I'm not jumpin on the first cigarette I made. Also the $$$ you save? Insane! For me anyway. $9/pack or $18/tobacco & tubes and it lasts a good week & that's with my bf smoking a 1 1/2 packs a day. ---- and u get used to the difference in taste (just think of the $$!)

Welcome, Monica. I'm glad you finally decided to post. I'm pretty sure most people on ECF who smoke and vape think they're the only ones who do it. I know I thought that myself. I hesitated to post much because I didn't feel 'qualified' to give advice and didn't want to admit I still smoked. It seemed that everyone else was able to quit with little to no effort and I couldn't understand why I was having such a hard time. Thank goodness I found this thread.

Living with a smoker who scoffs at your vaping has to make it 10 times harder for you. I'd say you're doing well only having 5 to 10 cigs a day. Having others, like the people in this thread, who understand and have the same issues you're having really helps a lot. You'll get suggestions, tips, commiseration and congratulations from people who 'get it'. It helped me give up a 3-4 PAD habit I couldn't have done by myself.

I have most of my tobaccos at 4.1 with high resistance to sooth my cough. I think you are correct. I rarely use 100%vg, just a few juices that I got along the way.
