Good morning everyone. Just a heads up, my itazte vv v3 fell over last night, it was sitting on the counter and I bumped it. At first I thought it might have popped the atty cause it wouldn't read it, but I have since tried several attys and all I get in NON. It didn't even fall, it was standing on it's end and fell over onto the counter and now it's dead, doesn't matter whether it will charge or not if it won't read an atty. :(

If you've got some fine needle nose pliers you can pull the battery contact up a little. If you don't have them a knife on each side and pry it up a little. It won't take a lot of effort it move it a lot so be careful.
Another thing it could be is the coll contact outside of the tank. It could have moved to one side or the other just enough to not make contact, again can be adjusted as described above.
I've included shots of the area I described above,1 of the itaste where it contacts the coil contact and the other of where the coil contact in an iclear 16 touches the battery. Your tank might look different but the method is the same.
Hope that helps.

Have any of y'all looking for a different vendor tried Killer juice?
Here's a link to a thread the owner has going. I have yet to try any of his stuff I didn't say least like and find more than an "emergency flavor if I'm out of everything else" like so many I've bought locally.
Oops forgot the link

If anyone's needing things like needle nose pliers, etc. Harbor Frieght is having a huge sale this weekend. Looks like 2 pages of $0.99 items and coupons incl. 20% off everything (they have that 5 drawer oak chest that I've been coveting). I think they have those "3rd hands" w/ magnifying glass for <$7 reg price. I think you can go to the website for coupons and ordering, I'm not sure. Some of their stuff is cheap, but most is good.

Harbor Freight is great for what I refer to as "sacrificial tools". If it's something I'm confident I'm going to break when working on the Jeep, it comes from there...costs less than the good stuff :D

I'll have to pick up one of the 3rd hand devices. I'm thinking it'll come in really handy when I start making coils for my Octopus, and I can see them being helpful soldering LED strip lights.

I'm still on the hunt for my ADV as well. I've only been buying from the B&Ms, so my brand selection isn't too broad, but it's growing.

MBV (all 65/35, 18mg, no extra shots):

Cinnamon Roll - nice and smooth flavor, but it seems like I tire of it quickly
Hawk Sauce - Fruity with menthol, I didn't expect to like it before tasting it in the store, but it's in my PT2 most of the time.

Halo:

Kringle's Curse - the bottle doesn't say ratios, but it's 18mg. I vaped it straight for a while, but now I use it to spice up juices that are just blah.

Rocket Fuel Vapes (65/35 I think? 18mg) - these are the ones I got when I picked up my EVOD starter kit:

Harley's Blend Tobacco (24mg actually) - I don't seem to use this as much as I thought I would. The high nic hits kind of hard, and maybe I'm not a straight tobacco vaper.
Prospector Peach - This one I went back for more on. The B&M is discontinuing it, so he had it cheap. $3.95/10ml I think. Peach with tobacco.
Johnny Appleseed - Another tobacco, but with Apple.

Vaporleaf - They're local, and about 2 miles from the house. All of theirs are 50/50

Mr. Dew - 18mg for clearo, 12mg for dripping. Pretty close to drinking Mountain Dew
Grape - 18mg for clearo, 12mg for dripping. Good by itself, and great mixed with Mr. Dew
GS Cookie - 18mg. Supposed to be like Girl Scout Thin Mints, but tastes more like old sock. Kringle's Curse makes it tolerable, but otherwise it sits on the shelf.
Scutterbotch - 12mg Tasted good on the 510 atty in the store, but it's weird on my Octopus. Kind of smells like burning wood. I'm thinking I was hitting it with too much power and scorching it.

E Cig of Denver - Another local B&M, mixed right in front of you. 50/50, 12mg

Watermelon w/ extra flavor - great for dripping.
Grape Jolly Rancher w/ extra flavor - Meh...I'll let it steep, but I'm not too impressed
Honeydew - Decent flavor, but a little on the meh side. I'll let that one steep too.

Now for the blech...

Inno-Vapor - Mango Peach -- All they had on the shelf was 0mg nic, so he said he added nic to bring it to 18mg. The only throat hit is on the exhale, and it's actually kind of painful. The flavor isn't the same as when I sampled it, so I'll let it steep I guess.

All in all, I'm thinking I gravitate toward the sweets and fruits.

Thank you, the first thing I did was try 5 different toppers of 4 different types and the second thing I did was raise the post up on the battery, nothing helped. About a week ago I started noticing dead pixels on the led, don't know if it is related but now with this I wouldn't be surprised.

Sorry for your Itaste VV3 Claudia. I have no helpful hints, but I have seen a couple of threads on them. I have been lucky with my spinners and MVP2. Only problem is having to use an adapter on MVP2 for Evods. So far Provari Mini has been perfect a month in. It is my main device now, all others are backups or to switch up flavors quick.

For all the newer vapers here and as a reminder to the rest of us, I am going to post links to our juice swap threads again. I swapped juices using these threads for a couple of months last summer/fall. Was like a feeding frenzy. Got rid of a lot of meh juices and got a lot of replacements. A few keepers, but you have to be careful and know your vendors. It is totally worth it though. Just for the cost of postage you get to sample all kinds of vendors and their flavors. Does make the hunt more fun and you at least feel you have not wasted your money on juices you do not like.

I'm sorry about it too since it was my only real to go device, I do have the ego c twist but who knows how much longer they will last, I've read a lot about them only lasting 4 or 5 months and I've already had them 6 months. I don't need it at home, here I use the ProVari and SID, but I don't really like taking either of them out and about. Now I just have to decide if I replace it or go ahead with my plans for a mech, I can't do both and I'm not sure I really want to pay that much again for something that dies so quickly. That's what I like about the mech, no tech stuff to go bad and in the event of the Vapocolypse Cliff could fix anything that went wrong with a mech.

The MVP 2 has become infamous for firing pin problems, or I'd get one of them but apparently the problems aren't limited to the MVP 2.

quick cheap fix that might work, screw an adapter 510 to ego on it, see if it works

Yeah I know but now I don't trust it, if it's only going to last 5 months $25 is too much IMHO. I'm really really disappointed in Innokin, I wouldn't be but I keep reading about this kind of thing with the MVP 2 and other Innokin products too, they have a problem in that area moreso than others except maybe Vamo.
I haven't completely made up my mind what I'm going to do yet, still mulling it over.

Claudia, you can pick up a new VV V3 for $25.99 plus shipping Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape

I'm sorry to hear that. This may sound silly, but I tend to get attached to my mods. I'd rather fix 'em than buy new. Do you know if they are still under warrenty - maybe? I've had my spinners/twists drop on a regular basis and so far they've survived. I had a 510 connection break off an atomizer once. The warrenty front seems to be improving. The Sigelei Zmax came with a year warrenty. I'm having connection issues so I may be testing that out. There's also a new vv/vw coming out this month with servicing in the US called the Spire. It comes with a one year warrenty and they are saying reasonable US repairs after that - which is the main reason I got a Provari.

Whatever you do, don't throw it away just yet. A fix may really be around the corner since those are so popular - someone will figure it out. Who knows, the way your getting into those coils, you just might find yourself with a need to cannabalize the internals to make your own mod at some point too.

Thought you might enjoy this pic;
