Karen, just giving my input from my K100. the grooves in the body makes my hand hurt after a while because i grip it so tightly. it may or may not be a issue for you, from the pictures i see of the K101 it might be better for you? i dont know.

IF you could go to a store that had both just to hold them in your hand to test it would be great.

Found my OLD Smoking Everywhere ecig, contacted Bill Godshall on here by PM to see if me sending it to him would help at all. dont have the charger to it anymore, but have the battery and atomizer for it.

Im loving my K1000 pipe. im just afraid it will accidently fire when i set it down on the couch because the button is kind of easy to press (i like that, but wish there was a locking ring). im trying to figure out how to use a freshly charged battery so its down to ~3.8v so i can use my 1.8 ohm coil without being too high of volts for the flavor im currently using.

i need a 510 to ego adapter.. have some Ego ce4's i would use on the pipe but cant get them to thread onto the pipe. will get one eventually. or have my friend make one. he is ordering the tools so he can start working on his own things. like a dripper that we are planning. later plans for a rebuildable tank. and our own mech. i need to get a engraver.. and a 3d printer.

My k101 is smooth on the grip even gripped tightly for a few hours, just the ridges will tell you where air holes line up after some time.

I've been sleeping crazy hours for too many years, I don't remember sleeping a regular schedule or what that feels like

Lmao, theres a reason that the day shift guys don't mess with the "zombies". When we wheel in coffee pots that need pallet jacks they just nodd and get out of the way lol! BTW, sunlight is bad!!

I just wrapped up 2 30g 12 wrap nano coils. Maybe not officially nanos, I admit I used a slightly heavy paperclip to wrap them. Just need a deck to put them on since my Octo has a micro that's wicked and vaping fine.

B&M visit today!!

I also made a trip to Harbor Freight the other day. Tweezer set, butane torch, helping hands with magnifying glass. Their magnifier is kind of cloudy. Might just need a good cleaning, but we'll see.

Etherealink, you've created a monster  :vapor:

I was going to go to my local vape meet in Nashville tomorrow but it has been rescheduled to next week because we are going to get either sleet or freezing rain tomorrow evening. We are right on the line so who knows what time or how much. It was 60 degrees yesterday and almost that today. Crazy weather.

I have been trying to organize all my vaping stuff, beyond just juice. I have more 'stuff' than I thought and none wants to be categorized or fit in the neat little boxes I want them to fit in. I also find that I have to go out and buy a pair of tweezers and either another nail clipper or a wire cutter. DH's from the garage looks like it has been in toxic waste. Do not want to use it on my vaping wire. The idea of using a nail clipper that one of us has used on our toenails turns me off. Thought I had extra, guess not. Oh, and an even stronger pair of reading glasses. And probably some kind of torch thingy. Can not find the couple of lighters I thought I held on to. Must have put them in a safe spot. They are gone forever.

Jim,

Took a trip to Harbor Freight myself a couple days ago. Got a new Multi-Meter, a jewelers-screwdriver set (for coil winding) a 10-pack of 1/16" Titanium Nitride coated drill bits (Hey, it was only 99 cents, OK for coil wrapping or airhole enlarging) and a couple more "Storage Organizers" (aka toolboxes).

With the "Helping Hands" did you get the cheaper one or the more expensive one (with the illuminated magnifier?) I think the cheap one is like $3 and the bigger one is $7 or so? IMHO the cheap one is pretty crappy, the bigger one is much nicer and well worth it.

I cheaped out and got the one without the light. It just didn't seem to help with coils, so it's in the cabinet now. The torch is great though. No more burning my fingers oxidizing kanthal or mesh :D

The tweezer set is great though. I'm using the spring loaded squeeze for microcoils a lot, and the angled ones are great for fishing cotton through.

As far as screwdrivers, I had found a great set at Lowes a few years back, so I have a great selection of shaft sizes to build different coils.

Today though, I'm fighting my RSST. The same juice that tastes awesome on my Octopus tastes like shorting out electronics in the RSST. I even put it on my MVP2 so I could lower the wattage I'm throwing at it. Probably a hot spot...grrrr
