And I haven't even been trying! I swear you spread good luck.

I pm'd them right away. I'm in so many contests that I don't know what all I've entered. The page is a little confusing. I think it's a vape case and couple of tank and a couple of juices. So I was hoping they'd tell me, ask me flavors, what phone I have, nic level, something that would give me a clue, right?
Nope. They just said "it's on it's way". Good thing I like surprises.

But what a way to start the week! HECK YEAH!
Next up, the lottery (after my tire gets fixed).

I wonder if there's any contests for air pumps or battery chargers?

Lol, I understand your pain about too many contests... you should see my notebook list!!

Congrats Aik!!

Hi...

I've been vaping about 4 months. I was an ex-smoker for many years and vaping was my attempt to thwart cigarette cravings I was having (even years after quitting). It didn't work, as I picked up smoking again, but I'm still vaping.

Finding vaping didn't work was so frustrating... especially as I've heard so many success stories. I kept thinking "What's wrong with me?" Then I started reading about minor tobacco alkaloids and realized tobacco addiction is a lot more complicated than just getting a nicotine fix.

Currently I'm more like a dual user. I have a few cigarettes a day but I vape when smoking would be difficult or impossible- I've cut my smoking down by half or 2/3. I'm considering trying smokeless tobacco to quit the cigs- I've tried American snuff but I really do prefer snus that I tried years ago (before it was trendy).

Welcome to the party FD, embrace the suck!!

you all know I have been very lucky winning contests, I just won another that wasn't announced yet, it will be announced tomorrow. SO, that said, I have just about every kind of MOD there is out there and every kind of ATTY other than RBA's like Kayfun or Genie styles. I have drippers and BCC, BDC, well like I said, just about everything.

I now have some of the best juices that I have tasted. I still smoke! This is crazy! I sometimes take a puff of the Cig and then follow it up with the vapor, It tastes better, I know this, I like it better, so why am I smoking????? I must be crazy, I use RYO tobacco, I prefer still ,the store bought ,but can live with the RYO. I know a small part is the form factor, I like to hold the darn thing between my lips. that hasn't gone away
I am trying an experiment to just hold the cig in my lips, unlit and then vape if that is what it takes, I will do it. No fear of looking stupid, who is going to see me?

Flavor does make a huge difference, once you find flavors that you love, I don't mean ok flavors, I mean I love these flavors, then it does help to vape more, and smoke a little less. I saw product that I will buy, when I get my money, on the same basis that the eRoll is but larger an auto VV from V4L it might help i can only guess, I will either spend vast sums of money or vast amount of time to get what works, I am in this over a year now and I really believe it will work when I find the right thing. I will still use all my other stuff when I can think about what I am doing but for mindless vaping to be like mindless smoking, I must find the right setup, and I am sure it's out there.

I got some use out of a blue ecig for the same reason ... even when it died it helped the hand to mouth thing.

What equipment are you using and what are you vaping? Do you have an all day vape or do you like to mix it up a lot?

I have two KR808 shorty batteries and an unregulated eGo. I recently parted with some of my stuff that just wasn't working for me (long KR808 batteries- too heavy to be good cig-a-likes, and some of my backup EGo batteries). I also have a Mistic e-cig that works very well, but I don't like the juice as much (see below).

I'm actually going to buy some more KR808 shorties to try out- this time steel instead of white. I don't want it to be confused with a cigarette (I had that happen a few times).

I've also got an EGo-RS on the way. It's a 14500 mod, you can replace the battery and it has some different voltage settings (5-click). I've decided regulated voltage is important- my 808's are regulated and it seems to work better. Variable voltage might be nice too since I have so many different CE4's with different resistances. I also like the idea of replacing batteries.

I've considered other mods, particularly the 14500 batteries as I want something small.

Oh, and I am kinda a tobacco girl. No matter how many flavors I try I keep drifting back to something that has a tobacco base, although I like sweetened tobaccos.

I like tobacco flavors too, it's mostly all I've tried so far. I tried an iced tea flavor I liked.

Some DIY stuff using FlavorArt's Cowboy Blend or 7 Leaves and a bit of Ethyl maltol is as close as I get to an ADV. I also use WholeCig's unflavored WTA and vape vegetable-glycerin heavy blends. I also like Aroma E Juice's GI Joe or any RY4. It feels like I have too many juice bottles sitting around- another beginner issue. I'm going to invest in a small refrigerator to help me store them, plus I will be able to keep snuff in there too and batteries.

I find it hard to vape regular nicotine e-liquid. Sometimes it makes me chain vape and I get too much nic and I still crave a cigarette, or I'll think I'm doing OK for a while and I notice I start losing my cool. I'm prone to panic attacks.

When I said I'm a dual user, I think that label suits me better. I like tobacco in general and have always tended to use it in different forms, though when I get into cig smoking it usually takes over and squeezes other stuff out. I never got into e-cigs with the intention of "quitting smoking" and I don't have the willpower for it. Hence my problems with vaping regular nicotine e-liquid, it reminds me too much of using the NRT patch, and that was at a point in my life I was highly motivated to quit altogether (and I did for several years, then my life went downhill a few years ago and it was a struggle not to just buy a pack of cigs). I have no interest in "quitting", just looking for a healthier alternative that satisfies some of the reasons I smoke (hand to mouth oral fixation I have and the alert calm sensation tobacco provides).

I vape regular nicotine occasionally, just not that much. I do evny the availability of flavors and convenience of regular e-liquid, it just doesn't seem to be working for me very well.

Firedragon, using the vendor eliquid can also be an expensive quest. At one point I had almost 150 bottles of different flavors from different vendors all over my sunroom and coffee table. I traded a lot of them and gave away many more. I am down to two vendors right now that I truly enjoy. But it took forever to find out what I like and what likes me.

Try the Juice Swap thread here in the PIF area. You may find something you like.

Congrats, by the way. I can't think of anyone else who deserves it more.

Karen - I second that Holy Moly!!! Wow. You have sure been lucky lately. How many contests a day are you entering.

Oh, I do not want to do Facebook. But you are getting me thinking about it a lot. I dream about what fake names I can come up with. And setting up separate email addresses.

Good for you. That DNA 20 is a popular device. If you do not want it you probably can sell it on the classys in a heartbeat.

I know ya' wanna. LOL!

Some of the names are pretty funny; Drippin Bob, Wicked Witch, somebody Vapor, etc. I wished I woulda done it that way. I skip some because I don't want to give my name or connect my page to something. Still, I was aiming for tanks and atomizers, doing mods (not expecting anything) and spending an hour 2-3x/wk and I won twice in a month. Not shabby. I'm hoping the tanks I'm getting are protanks. A lot of juice contests, some premium; Fuzion, 5 Pawns, Plume Room. Most unknown. It was sure nice to win a spinner a week after my old spinner died.

Anyway, I should be sleeping and I forgot all about the moon.:facepalm:The power of contests.

It takes me longer cause I'm slightly ADD. Gotta look at the whole page, follow links, read a little. So cut my time down by half.

I found my new anthem. Went right up on FB.

Hello everyone! I'm facing a hurdle right now that I haven't faced since I quit smoking last July. I got a chest cold. I know, call the wambulance, right? Vaping feels like inhaling boiling hot lava. Switched to unflavored at the lowest wattage on my device, still painful. I remember when smoking numbed everything while I was sick. . .

Congrats to all the winners! Keep it going!

Welcome new friends, as well. Stick around, we are a pretty fun bunch!

FQ, if you diy, mix menthol and eucalyptus with a very low pg % and that will help some. Also light citrus flavors were easier for me when sick.

FQ, this is going to be a huge challenge, do not smoke!!!! it will make it very hard to vape. I made this mistake!!!!!!!!
go back to your stick batteries if you have to, try Menthol if you can stand it. they say its easier to vape menthol with a cold.

Love you! embrace the suck!

Thanks you guys! The problem is I hate menthol!!! I have Lemonade Stand from Aroma in one tank right now, at 3.0 watts on a 1.9 ohm coil head. It's like inhaling glass shards. The other tank is unflavored 50/50 on the iTazte at 6.0 watts (that's as low as it goes) on a 2.0 ohm coil head, it's not like glass shards but still pretty painful. I feel MUCH better today than yesterday, so maybe it won't stick around too long. I'm hanging on by a thread here! I avoided the smoking shelter for break this morning, because my Newport buddy would have helped me out if I'd asked him to. No, no, no, no!!
