Ouch! When I went to the e-room about mine, 20-odd yrs ago, I acted like such an infant, and the cut was so clean and had stopped bleeding with the tight impromptu dressing we had covered it with, they only put one of those "butterfly" dressings on it, but it was on my wrist, on the outer edge, just where the wrist and hand come together, so typing was a huge pain for a couple months -- you don't usually realize how much you use your pinkies, until the outer edge of your wrist is non-functional! :D Somehow I managed to not cut the tendon, but cut so many nerves there, the entire outer edge of my hand itched and tingled for years.

Oh no! Ouchie! That actually sounds like something I would do. I buy my boxes of bandaids at Costco in the quantity of 500 or 1000. DH is constantly needing patching up for something. I also have a wholesome collection of ace bandages, butterfly bandaids, finger wraps, ice pack thingys, all kinds of tapes, and the list goes on. I use them all during the course of a year on him. He currently has a sprained big toe. The ball of his foot is about 4 times normal size and he is black and blue from the toe halfway to his ankle. Xray says not broken. He is like having a kid all over again. Gotta love him.

Ok did a really stupid thing today. I tried to kill a fly with my hand on a window. Broke the window, fly went through hole, cut my palm had to go get stitches. Now I'm in pain and and feel like an idiot because I knew better.

I am clumsiness personified... broke ANOTHER drip tip this morning -- and this one was plastic! -- reaching for a tissue for my stupid runny nose, elbowed the vv3+kayfun again, and broke the driptip I was using IN PLACE OF the white ceramic I broke Sunday. :grr: I swear, I need to live in a rubber room or something.

I don't much care for metal driptips, but maybe I need to get over that, and ONLY use metal.

I spent and hour and a half trying to build a coil with 30ga wire and get it mounted on my r91. After the third coil that I could not get the legs to stay under the screws I switched to 28ga and mounted a coil in 10 minutes. It is my first 1.0ohm coil and is giving my Provari little fits since it reads a little low once in a while, but it works. I needed to do one more wrap on it, 9 instead of 8 so it is a little higher next time. Vaping Smooth Criminal tobacco on it and it is a good vape.

It's weird that 30ga wouldn't stay under the screws, but the fatter wire would -- I usually have the opposite problem, but I just go on and wrap the wire around the screw so I know it's caught. I compromise between 28 and 30, and use 29ga. Harder to find, but worth it.

What does that Smooth Criminal taste like? I've wondered ever since I first heard of it.

Smooth Criminal from Ahlusion is a bakery type tobacco. For me it is a little spicy when fresh. I let it steep for about 5 or 6 weeks. The people on the Ahlusion thread say that it has been reformulated and now does not need to steep. I have not tried the new version yet. It is a net but the tobacco is not an overly strong one. I do taste the rounding sweetness and a touch of a mild spice after a steep. It is my favorite tobacco vape now.

I just picked up a 30ml bottle of NLV Gold tonight at 6mg. I will see if I still love this flavor after not vaping it for about 6 months. It is the flavor that got me off the cigarettes last summer.

Hmm... I might try out that Smooth Criminal; at first I didn't think I'd like it, and I probably wouldn't have, but I'm finding the sweeter vapes a lot more pleasing than I used to, and of course the bakery flavors -- the blueberry muffin/banana nut bread is my new favorite. The other one I've been liking a lot lately is the Long Bottom Leaf pipe sauce... it's a tobacco flavor, but sweet, with a lot of coffee flavor in there too. I've never tried any of the NETs so I have no frame of reference for what they would taste like -- and they do tend to be a bit pricey, so I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much for something I had no idea if I would like it.

Another tobacco that I really, really do enjoy is The Plume Room's Honey Fig Tobacco. You can taste the honey and the fig in it. They have a weekly special that starts on Monday nights, keep your eye out and you can pick up a 30ml bottle for around $11. They change the flavor every week so keep checking. Their Banana Pudding and Banana Mint Milkshake are very good too.

Gotta say, I've never been a fan of "fig" -- like, Fig Newtons... ugh. Honey would be good, though; I got some of High Desert Vapes' Constant Comment some months ago, but it just wasn't sweet enough, and I recalled that I used to put a lot of honey in the tea. But then I figured out that HDV's juices are kinda bland unless you get the extra flavor shot.

Banana Pudding sounds great, but I'm not sure how bananas and mint would go... I'm not a huge fan of mint, except with chocolate. I just finished off my pkg of Keebler Grasshoppers cookies, and my husband told me he was NOT going to mug any girl scouts for me, for Thin Mints. :D

What the hey, I need to scale back on the snacks for a while, it's not long till the holidays and all the good eats between Thanksgiving and xmas. :D

The smooth criminal sounds great Question though you said spice like cinnamon or more of a set nutmeg? Cinnamon has been way to harsh for me but out sounds yummy

Sent from a dark sparkly place

Definitely NOT cinnamon, probably closer to a nutmeg, but order just a small bottle. They have reformulated Smooth Criminal and I have been reading varied comments on the Ahlusion thread about whether people like it or not. A couple like it more and one says that the slight spicy note is gone. So before you dive in, do a small bottle. I have not tried the new formulation yet.

Hey everyone, long time no speak!!

Still hanging, haven't had a cigarette in a week, whoo-hoo! Got some interesting new flavors from a Secret Saint, so no desire to have a stinky old yucky taste in my mouth. Fingers crossed!!

Hope you're all doing well, prayers for those who need 'em, and talk soon!

Slowly getting our wish trip planned in November. Did some planning last night and emailed our coordinator with our plans and we lucked out. They had reservations at the same place we planned. Now to try to get reservations for the other places. They all booked up about a month ago. Grr.

Child got a new sand box from grandma. He has been covered in sand for the last few days.
