thankyou i finished with ecig's 19 days ago no longer need it got down to 0mg stayed there for 1 1/2 months and finished
yea it was a pain to do but worth it in the end
Did you gradually just taper down? If so, how long overall did it take? And how long between "step downs"?
when i started diy juices i lowered myself .5mg each 3 wks or every 3 30ml bottles of juice. its not a big difference but over time you'll see the results it might take you shorter/longer depending on how bad you dont wanna use them anymore
After almost 6 months of Vaping only Bought 6 oz bag of DIY tobacco this morn. I still had 1/2 box of filter tubes and the stuffer in a drawer. Since 11 am have had 6 cigs. Also been Vaping. Thinking next Payday I am going to order 50 mils of 36mg WTA nicotine solution from Whole E Cig. Its $75. I will add my VapersTek Nic solution and PG/VG to get 150mils of Part WTA 30 mg Juice. Going to try a little stronger then my Usual 24 mg. With those 6 cigs I feel something I am missing from Regular E Liquid. The 6 oz bag of tobacco will use up all of my filter tubes and then I am going to give my stuffing machine away so Don't have half the supplies for DIY Cigs at hand. 150 mils will last me about 1 month.
the last 4 months of me vaping before i quit completely was purely on mechanical yea i ran threw more juice but i was down to like 2mg nic each month dropped .5 when i got to zero ppl told me i went more threw the without it but i didnt notice as im moving around alot
) I've heard tell that it's harder to switch completely to vaping the second time around, (I'm afraid to find out for myself) but I'm sure the WTA will help. Good luck.Hey everyone I am new to this thread and ECF in general. I've been vaping for about 3 months now. Over that time I haven't quit cigs completly. Not even a total dry spell. The most success I've had is getting down to two or three cigs a day. I've been able to keep it at that low level for about two weeks at a time sometimes more. But here's what I've noticed: vaping success seems to be almost dependent on novelty. When you first start cutting back on cigs is easy, when you get new gear or new juice cutting back is easy, because you've got something new to try out and you're exploring a new corner of the habit of vaping which in a way is more complicated than smoking is. The newness of it keeps you vaping more than you are smoking. However, this gets expensive quick and for a poor college kid I don't want to have to depend on new gear to keep it up. I've heard people on this thread say that they focus on their motivation, which is essential and I am going to work on that for sure. But I am wondering if anyone has noticed the same thing and/or has any comments and experiences they'd like to add on. Does anyone have a way around this, do you find you eventually become settled and satisfied for good with the gear you are using?

Now, I've got my "I don't smoke anymore!" hootchie-kootchie dance back. It's good to see so many familiar faces... and on a not entirely unrelated note, after reading through the last several pages, I can I relate with a lot of the issues I am reading about.
Much like FQ, quitting for me doesn't come from a place of a desire either because I love to smoke too. Also I get a lot of crap from family for vapeing. Regardless of what I say, what I give them to read, or links I send them to they still are unconvinced they are safe, or safer even than tobacco. It's a strange predicament when out of one side of their mouth they say "I want you to quit smoking," and then when I'm messing with a mod or coiling a dripper they turn around and say, "Why don't you just smoke instead?" I'm sure some of you have dealt with this as well.
I am seriously stressed about my back. I broke it a little over a month ago and still haven't seen a specialist. Apparently there is only one specialty center that handles these types of injuries on my insurance and they can't see me until next year at the soonest! I'm supposed to wait 3+ months after a spinal fracture...really? I'm a bit concerned because parts of my feet and legs are going numb randomly when I'm sitting and laying down. I should tell a Doctor right? /frustrated At least I get to see a Cardiologist in a couple weeks. note: The Doctors here are generally really good, however there is a noticeable shortage. The insurance companies, like everywhere else suck and are reprehensible for profiting from the suffering of others.
My smoking has been out of control. I recently got some WTA from Aroma, so I will make an effort to start vaping again. All I'm doing is sitting/laying watching tv or on my laptop all day. Between that, the stress and the pain it's a conducive environment to smoke like a chimney.

Hi JJ. Real good to see you. Wow! Quit vaping too? How wonderful for you to be totally free by choice. Keep your gear or at least some of it, just in case you get an inkling for a vape down the road. I am real proud of you. You are a great success and so quickly. Congratulations.
