The general consensus amongst the folks up in the e-liquid/modding area....if you keep the bottles sealed until use, and keep them in the dark and cool....you can get beyond the expiration date without much loss of nic potency. Nicotine degradation appears to be the real factor in expiration dates and not like the PG or VG is going to start growing mold or something.

Thats great news! Looks like I'll be in full force when ordering juices! :thumb:

So Sun, you didn't PhotoShop the "Heaven's Gifts" out enough, it can still be seen. :)

Since we're on the subject of stocking up...

I know juice should be kept in the dark and cool. Read somewhere that the fridge works well but that they thought that the freezer wouldn't make a whole lot of difference. My main question though is what, if any, special arrangements need to be made for the batteries? A Google search turned up that Lithium Ions should be stored for prolonged periods in a partially discharged state at -21 to 25 degrees Celsius. Is that the makeup of our batts?

Sorm--if it is unflavored--you can keep it in the fridge. If it is flavored, no fridge--just a cool, dark, and dry place. The fridge is loaded with condensation when opened and closing the door.

I lost over 400 dollars worth of e-liquid storing it in the fridge. My advise is to do not do it!!! It all turned rancid. I have e-liquid coming on two years old here that is just as good as the day I bought it and keep it in a draw. The fridge is where I lost all the money.

Thanks for the tip Sun. *Runs to the fridge to get her new stock out.* Now all I have to do is yell at my landlord because he hasn't bothered to fix the A/C problem left over from last Fall! :p

Anyone on the batteries? Anyone? Bueller? :D

Let's just say I have no reason to feel warm and fuzzy. Sun's advise AJ is to stock up.

This makes me sick to my stomach... for real! I've been out of work for too long too be able to stock up and I can't think of going back to analogs! Now I won't be able to sleep tonight!

Sorry for the whine... I'll go get some cheese.

I'm stocked for 2 yrs at least with carts and juice. Still working on the batteries.
That is what I am trying to do....I have more batteries coming and then I will get lots more juice. I have all of my regular cartos that I no longer use cleaned and put away just to be safe. This makes me so sad that we have to think like this.:-x

Are there sources other than China even if in the blueprints? I didn't think about it till now, but what about China (not the FDA), couldn't China shut the plants down? Or, on the other very opposite hand, couldn't China lobby-bribe our lawmakers on our behalf?

There is no reason to panic. Stock up if you can. But be smart!

Learn to DIY, read the forums. Find a source for tobacco flavorings and check out the other flavorings..LorAnn's Bickfords faries finest and capela are a few. They do not compare to V4L but if you can't order..you will vape them.

Check out places to buy P.G. V.G. and Glycerin. Tractor suppy sells P.G. for 20.00 to 25.00 a gallon.

Find a source for Nicotine unflavored liquid.

Find a cheap mod or make one. They use protected batteries found on line or in some stores.

Snuss or snuff can be used as a source of nic.

All your DIY needs can be found right here on ECF.

I like my V4L stuff, and will continue to order my favorites for as long as possible, but if I can't order..I am preparred to fight back!

For your first search may I suggest the nicostick or laser mod. They are NOT comparable to an extra long V4L batt..but..in a pinch!
