Do u guys think its possible to drill out my kayfun Lite airhole just a tad bit bigger? I almost atempted it but idk how deep to go.. I also dont want and shavings being trapped in there

I don't think so. There's the positive-pin/screw/airhole/insulator/block assembly to consider, not just the hole in the side of the base.

I think you'd be better off with a 3.1 than ruining your Lite.

I was thinking if you go all the way through, you would be the first with a dual air hole kayfun lite...lol:rolleyes:

When you take it out of the cooler, it's gonna do the same thing. :)

I started keeping my Mini in a sandwich cooler bag, but used a sealed freezer bag.

At wells, it gets hot. Really, really hot. The increase in temperature lowers the vacuum in the fluid chamber until a new equilibrium is reached. The result is fluid leaking from the evaporator chamber. The cooler bag did help when I had to leave it in the car.

Meant to add...

If you don't start vaping right away, yes. The previous post is correct. Then it will leak as it warms up for the same reason. Just vape away when you take it out of the cooler.

Yeah, it depends if the cooler is cool, or just room temperature. If it's room temperature, then you're just using it as insulation, which should reduce the problem. If it's iced, then the fluid is going to contract, and it's going to be itching to get out as it warms up whether you vape it or not. Since the air hole is all the way at the bottom, I assume you could avoid the problem by simply inverting it until the temp has leveled, but I haven't tested that with this particular unit.

FYI airplanes are a pain too. It's generally a good practice to try to create a gap in the top of the tank any time your ears "need popping". I have my suspicions that this would simply force the Kayfun to leak, as it's the vacuum in the tube that really keeps the whole thing contained.

Ok, first of all, if you take this advice and ruin your KFL I am in no way responsible. I do not own a KFL and this is just a guess based on what I can see on my 3.1. If you take the bottom assembly apart (to the point where 1e in the attached image comes off) you should have the "tube screw" that carries the air to the coil out. Then you should be able to drill the airhole on the outside through. You'll never be able to get a true open draw due to the size of the hole under the coil, but you should be able to loosen it up quite a bit.

Hi everyone..

Yup, have a question..

Pluid ::: Kayfun lite ::: Swollen O rings :::: Used up all my spares :::

I think the O ring is 4C on some charts. I did a search and got directed to this thread.

I need to know has a solution been found for this or what are the sizes of the O ring?

Could really use some advice on this.

Thanks everyone..

KFL and 3.1 ES tank o-ring size is 17 x 1 mm (Ithaka tank o-ring size is 16 x 1 mm, may work) 17 x 1 mm is recommended for Ithaka when the regular one leaks for no apparent reason.
As far a a solution, silicone o-rings might be the answer to the swelling problem from your juice.
