I had a lot of issues with this originally. I am a huge Kayfun Fan and have been. Most of my issues stemmed from honestly me, and the fact the parts aren't screwing together the best. You get the thing and can't tell when the juice control is fully open because it seizes in the middle. It sticks to your mod. The 510 is weird, and if you get it out of whack, you have to know how to get it right again. The airflow is a pita. It seems like if you make a change to one thing, it affects how everything else must be set. This thing is much like a puzzle box. But I will say, after I got my P3 connector installed, everything has been great. I used to think my KFL+v2's were still better....now that could not be further from the truth. This thing is not like any other Kayfun! It has it's own learning curve. Also, I would not recommend building it, mashing down the cotton so the chimney fits with nothing in the threads model. I would suggest that you go ahead and put the stack ring on before you wick it. Cut the cotton slightly beyond the stack. Then gently fluff it before you set it in the decks. Also, after you set it in the decks, imagine where those holes on the bottom are. Try to place a fluffy cloud resting gently on top of them. Not mashed down on them. Finding the right amount of cotton to use is key. Also really concentrate on getting the cotton to fit through the coil without having to twist it. It really does not take that much wick material to make this build shine. Several builds I know I over wicked it and caused myself problems. Also for some reason I think the coil needs to be higher from the deck on this one. I seem to get better flavor that way. There are about 20 things I would have done differently after vaping this thing for a week even, but I think SM just wanted to release it. Therefore, there are adjustments we can make in our builds that make this unit really shine. If you are a Kayfun fanatic like me, got this and are totally frustrated like I was, please take the time to adjust your normal mindset. If you do and make some adjustments to the way you normally do things, you will find this to be an excellent purchase. I switched from 32G to 28 and more wraps, I raised my coil height, I raised my watts/volts, I fiddled with the parts until they move smoothly like they should have when I paid almost $200 for this thing. This is not a smooth transition from your normal Kayfun experience. This is something new and it requires a different take on things. I am now happily enjoying my new K4. For grins I loaded the same juice and tried to match the draw in my KFL+v2 units. From my experience this new unit is better, but I did the same test previously before adjusting my wire and build, and I thought the KLF+ was better. It isn't the atty, it is the build! I really hope this helps someone, even one person would make my year. Anyone frustrated out there, trust me, you can make this what others are saying it is, you just have to approach it differently than it's predecessors. Happy New Year to you ALL!
