Ha, imagine my plight. I drive in four countries regularly, three with their MTO provided Licenses and one with an IDP. Furthermore, traffic and road management in three out of the four are totally different.

I'm sure you have a "how-to" guide to driving in each country. :D

Every aspect of the K4 was designed around the juice Control. Without it, you have just another bottom feeding tank. I seriously doubt there will be a Lite version.

I really don't see the value of JC if it means you get two points of connection that is relying on spring tension. Add in moisture and it means it was a trade off to keep JC versus finding an alternative method. They also didn't design it to have a sleeve replace the spring so it can function properly either :)

Don't get this message wrong, the KF4 vapes incredible on Kanthal and some people have made it work on Ni200. I just think SM took a shortcut on the spring - I expect more for an ultra premium priced RTA.

Everything else about it is amazing IMHO and would have been perfectly fine draining my tank before flying :)

I installed my P3 connector straight out of the box, and it was a perfect fit.

I urge all those with this "small gap" to please try to figure it out rather than settle for the gap and be unhappy...
I'm a natural mechanic (and one by trade), and it's hard for me to explain things without lengthy analogies and repeating myself, in order to convince myself I made the explanation clear enough...but if anyone needs help, please don't hesitate to ask me! I want all of you to experience this new Kayfun the way I have!
I believe, as it was said above, that the KF4 has a learning curve...which is understandable! It's a whole new animal, based on an old familiar friend. While some things will feel familiar, they're used in new ways. And some things are expected to work certain ways, but they actually work other ways.
So...even though this device has been in the field for a while now, let's just be mindful of the fact that that it's still new. And this time next year, when we are griping about the new KF4 Lite, we can reach over and grab our trusty KF4's...hahaha although, the KFL's and v3.1's will always have a special place in our hearts...and hands!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I've got this gap as well, I think I mentioned it a while back. There really is no "figure it out" needed. My KF4 is assembled perfectly and just to test the theory I attached the SM P3 adapter (with nothing else on it) to the P3. Either there is some variance in the threaded section of the SM P3 adapter and mine is too long, or there is some variance in the depth of the P3 top cap threading. Can't be anything else since I'm just mating two parts with no positive pin or anything else to get in the way.

EDIT: I shouldn't have said that was an absolute for every case. The gap can be caused by an incorrectly assembled KF4 as well. Originally my gap was much larger. I came to find out that most of it was because I had opened my airflow screw too far which in turn lengthened the positive connection, leading to a gap about three times larger then my current gap (which looks to be about the same as others that have posted pictures here).

Aren't you already driving on the wrong side of the road, where you are?! :D
Me? No way. Right side is the 'right' side and the left is the 'wrong' side. So, for me, all UK , Australia and South Africa drivers are doing it wrong :D :D

Just find a world map of lefties and righties and you'll see... I belong to the majority that drives on the correct side of the road, doesn't use his feet or thumbs to measure something and has no idea about weight when a girl says 'I only weight 10 stones' (which is a good excuse to lift her to check BTW) :D :D :D

Sorry, but my $500.00 says these two devices better fit damn perfect. If they don't, then I'll be very upset and will wave both hands in the air from side to side, violently. My K4 is somewhere between here and Amsterdam. I'll keep you notified.

I agree, but we will see, when we get there.
Mine's somewhere between the SM - SMtec GmbH company shop in Everswinkel, Germany, and me in Riga, Latvia.

From another Kayfun thread...
Very interesting in regards to those of you having problems with nickel builds/temperature control...
Got this reply from VapeRev:
Good Morning Pat,

At this time, we have not heard if SvoeMesto will make any changes to the V4 with regards to using NI wire. The Kayfun V4 was designed before NI was introduced to be used with DNA 40 boards and was not a concern at the time. From what we understand, is almost all amtomizers fluctuate in performance when using Nickle builds because of the softer material of nickel, also, any atomizer with a spring contact and adjustable 510 does not hold the resistance well with nickel due to the fluctuation in resistance in relation to temperature. Since temp sensing mode is new to the market, many companies have not adjusted for this. If we hear any further information regarding changes to the V4, we will be sure to post it in an EDU video or on Instagram or Facebook. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to ask.

Best Regards,

VapeRev Team

Well I emailed InTaste and asked about screw A9. They don't have any, so I'm guessing none of the distributors do. They are emailing svomesto to get the scoop.

Im wondering if this screw has anything do with the gap between my p3 connector. I damaged it while taking it apart and it is rough on top and uneven. we will see

Pic of the screw? Maybe it can be sanded smooth?

Is it possible for the afc screw to turn when the juice control is turned? It may be all in my head but it seems that after a while the draw gets more and more airy.

Haha i think just the same. Sometimes it's tighter sometimes more loose. Think it's when you close the juice control to refill maybe

is the kayfun v4 really worth buying? for someone who has never had one, i am sure there is not much performance or taste difference between the kayfun lite plus and the v4 but for someone who hasn't experienced a kayfun is it worth forking out 120 euros

No one can determine what you should spend except you. I own KFLs and did not see where replacing them for 120 euro was worth the money. For anyone who does not have a Kayfun, the K4 should be a consideration. You can pick up an authentic KFL Plus from inTaste or Cloud 9 for much cheaper and see how you like it and move to the K4 later if you feel it is worth the money. You'll get a wide variety of opinions on how much better the K4 is (if any) versus the KFL. Some have already sold theirs claiming it wasn't very good. others think it is awesome.

Look what just came in a couple hours ago (referring to the SX Mini, I've had the K4 since the second week of December, hehe)...the K4 is an absolute pleasure to vape on this thing, very nice indeed.

I'm still messing around with power modes and watts in this thing, but it's been a treat vaping the K4 in this bad boy for the last half hour or so.
