Whaaaat?
That's definitely highway robbery! There's no sane person in this world who'd not know what he is selling is a clone. I'd opine it was 100% intentional ~ and thus that seller needs to be named and shamed.

And come again pls! Whaaat, even Angie purchased it from him/her? You weren't alone?
If you want to know who the seller was look at the closed/sold sub forum in the for sale section, it's right there.

Yes, it's true. I listed a "WTB" add for a V4 as I have a shark too and want another V4 for ni builds. No retailer had them in stock, I like to buy new but didn't want to wait.

A day later, seller listed a new V4 for 150 in the for sale section. I purchased within minutes. It arrived, a blatant counterfeit. I go to message him and vet him, he sold one the day mine arrived to Angie. 150 dollars, new in box.

Honestly, in my haste and excitement, I should have looked at the add pics closer. Most of us can see those two pics are not authentic V4s.

Seller was ItTechy, admin please know I'm not trying to cause drama naming, it is my belief he knew, PM exchanges he apologized for me "thinking" it's a counterfeit, never admitting. He wanted to refund after I sent back, he refunded ASAP when I said I am going to warn the community and post pics.

Here's a few pix of my latest build. Please speak up if you see something wrong with it. I plugged a couple of air holes and got it to work better, but I can't live with that: I'm a lung hitter with no desire to vape any other way.

Twisted 30awg Ni200, 3mm i.d., Rayon wick, 100%VG (Boba's) vaped @ 28watts/470degrees

BNEAT, that is perfection. Ugh, makes me want to vape it badly. Well done, I'll reference it.
Thank You

I may just have to do some measuring and see how much I can increase the diameter of the juice holes without breaking-out into the o'ring groove or the Center Post hole.

I don't do 100% VG, is it not keeping up with the stock holes and rayon?

No. It's vapor locking, and won't flow juice unless I crack open the fill cap. All signs are pointing to thick juice as the culprit. I'll have to check stock and see if I have anything thin I can try in it.

By the way, I am done with posting about my counterfeit experience, I am thankful of the forum, the knowledge, and the help and advise. I actually spoke with admin "sedge" on the phone last nite. Contacted Classwife, etc. The community here is fantastic. 150 dollars won't break me, it's the idea of what happened and could happen to others. I don't want to speak about the situation any longer, just be careful people.

Counterfeit or clone ..... received my tobeco V4 a few days ago :) While cleaning, noticed it was missing an o-ring on the upper deck, used with the glass & metal sides. The only spare parts that come with this tobeco version is the spring. The o-ring on the bottom deck was there.

Luckily had some larger o-rings in the old pile of RBAs that kinda fit in a crunch.

If you're expecting a tobeco in the vapemail, may want to check it out.

Authorized - YES. But I believe some got it from there after a month in transit. Was it BNEAT?

Yes, but it wasn't their fault (at least I don't think it was their fault) It was hung up in customs for 21 days!

Self-e-Steam was very helpful. A week after I recieved it, They sent an e-mail making sure everything was OK.

I've read this entire thread since its inception with great interest, and finally received my KF4. After having a problem similar to one described weeks ago wherein my kayfun 4 locked up, and I fixed it using the freezer trick, now I'm having another small issue that I thought someone here might be able to advise my on.

When I open up JC all the way, the unit looks flush. However, when I close the JC, a gap shows up just under the airflow ring, between the ring and the base. I'm also seeing tiny amounts of juice seeping into this gap, most noticeable when I open the JC back up (and the gap then closes).

Any idea what I might have done wrong to cause this? It seems like other peoples' units have no gaps or visible difference between the JC s open or closed.

My Tobeco clone doesn't leak but there is a big gap when its closed and the top of the atty wobbles like crazy. Tried tightening the 510 but it locks the JC when you do that..
