After reading the last few responses on VG, I just ordered a 70vg/30pg to try out in one of my fav and an adv. I trust no issues.

The more I use the V4, the more I love this thing. I tried my Kfl for a day, chaining it caused issues and heat. V4 it's a non issue, so simple to wick. Unless something big transforms rta devices, as far as I'm concerned this is the standard of airflow, taste and vapor production. Particularly for the less experienced like myself, the ease of setting it up too. If they do make small changes in upcoming versions, I hope they keep the things I mentioned intact.

Agree. Even though sophisticated piece of engineering, worked for me from my first coil, first wick, first everything.

I still find the KF3.1 more consistant to vape on (certainly not to fill), but I have had 3.1's for a lot longer than the KF4. But occasional dry hits on the 4 can undoubtedly be remedied.

By the way, which is the Rayon that everyone is using? I know there was a discussion about it pages back, but I'm feeling disinclined to search for it. From what I recall there were a couple of similar sounding and similar packaged cellutotton products, but only one was good.
By just looking at people's wicking photos, it seems to me as though the rayon is less dense than KGD and may wick a little better.

If you look at the box in the pics, one says 100% Rayon fibers and one says 100% Cotton fibers. Otherwise the boxes look exactly the same. You want the one that say rayon of course.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

It's this one,

I use the same amount as KGD, works well.

That's just a larger amount of 44060? Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to get it for much under $50 inc postage. Which is a massive rip off considering you guys in the US can buy it for $11.50.
I might see whether anyone in Aus wants to sell me 10m.

Yeah, 44060 is the same. I'm in Europe, Latvia, can't get it either. Sir Qorax was generous and sent me ~2m, will last for quite some time. Can't thank him enough.

Most of us got it at Sally Beauty Supply has hair products, salon supplies, spa supplies, cosmetics, and more!. There are 4 different boxes that I know of.

44130 - 40 feet
44060 - 500 feet
44043 - 3 lb box (900 feet)
44050 - 1200 feet

Just make sure it says 100% rayon on the box as the boxes that contain 100% cotton look identical.

Sally's works only from US and Canada. In Europe and Down Under (where Kaoself is from), the stuffs not that easy and cheap to get :)
But yeah, the info's right.

What differences have you noticed?

Between Rayon, and Cotton?

Experiences?

Thanks, Jim

I've tried only the Koh Gen Do Organic cotton and CelluCotton Rayon.
Maybe it's just me, but I think the KGD had a weird aftertaste. I'm not sure. Maybe mu KGD is not the real stuff or maybe it was only in my head. or maybe it was the juice... Apart from that, so far there has been no noticable difference, both wick great etc. But it's only my first week in rebuilding, so I don't know s*** :)

E smokeguru in Greece carries it.

Thanks. Will check when they're again open on Jan 18th.

For me, Rayon tastes cleaner. Cotton always had that mediciny taste and feel to it that took awhile to go away. Rayon just flat doesn't. Tastes good from hit one.

I also like the way it works in rebuilding better, I can more easily estimate what I need in diameter and slide it into the coils. A slightly tight feeling when sliding back and forth through the coil and it vapes great, wicks well and very few dry hits. With cotton I find I have to kind of "overstuff" it because it loosens up when you get it wet, so it's easier to put too much in the coil and have it not wick correctly. Too tight in the coil and it will "starve" the coil for juice.... Dry hits follow and you have to re-wick to fix it. PITA.
