I didn't read it. I don't follow every page and post. Someone asked so I answered. My bad.

:vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor:

In other news, I cleaned my V4 and damaged the glass tank.. chipped a small piece on the edge... Can't see it when assembled... Well, "love marks":D
And maaan, Qorax's tip about the beeswax just works awesomely..

Tried a new build. 28g parallel coil 10 wraps total on 3mm for 0.63 ohms. I actually got my maths wrong and was aiming for 1ohm, but decided to try it out anyway. Remarkably it works very well with the standard centre post and the air flow screw. Flavour is similar to the last 26g 1.24ohm build, vapour is a big bigger, with obviously a far quicker ramp up time and hotter vape.

But seeing as it doesn't really improve flavour, and if anything, I get a strange aftertaste as I tend to get with drippers; I can't personally see that much benefit except for those who like a hot, moist vape. I don't think I'll keep this build long, as it is a bit hot for me and nothing I can chain vape. In fact, having an 18650 and tank of juice not last one day will quickly become bothersome to me. But it goes to show that one can reach 0.6ohms with the air flow screw still set for mouth hits, and that lower ohms and more vapour are certainly not needed for good flavour.

Coincidently I rebuilt my 3.1 the day before and it is just superb at the moment. Having a Sat22 that I never use, as well as second unused KF4 and 3.1 (I know, having spares makes me feel secure), I'm a loss as to where to turn my vaping hardware collecting (avarice) at the moment. Maybe the Dominus Mods RDA in a month? Or maybe I can finally start saving money again! :ohmy:

Not sure what I'll try next in the Kayfun 4, as the 26g long ramp up time is beginning to bother me, but I like the flavour from a long 3mm coil. Maybe I'll try 26g 7 wraps for 1ohm, but I won't be expecting much improvement over 1.24ohms. I suppose ramp up will not be noticeably quicker.

I'm beginning to think that a vw device would be more practical for the KF4 as I could wrap a 10wrap 28g 3mm coil for good surface area, but set it to some 16W as for a 5 wrap 28g.

Anyone has any interesting suggestions as to what to try next, considering my like of the 26g 3mm 9 wrap 1.24 ohms and the fact the KF4 will be on a mech?

Not me.. I've only done various 28g and 29g 2.4-2.5mm drill bit builds with KGD or Rayon, the usual Kayfun stuff 1.1-1.6Ohms, and for a 20W mod. Still looking for that "perfect" one.
Can't seem to find a build for thin juices on the V4. Thick heavy VG juices work the best so far.

Finally set up my K4 clone after letting it sit again in the freezer for an hour so I could get the parts loose. Juice control finally working as well. Super easy to build on although it's been a while since I built a coil above .60Ω.

Then, my ProVari kept giving me an error message when I tried to fire the coil to check for any hot legs. Recoiled it twice before I realized...DUH. My ProVari was set at 5 volts, my ohms I hit was 1.2 :facepalm: I swear I'm not always an airhead.

Anyway, vape wise it's pretty smooth, like how it's quiet and stealth like but flavor..... REO/Chalice wins hands down on this particular juice. I am going to try one of my deeper flavors next because those I feel lack in the REO. The REo picks up sweeter notes more and I miss my deeper flavors.

Also not sure about the vape being cooler in higher ohms. I orefer warmer vapes and may need to adjust the airflow possibly. Still going to play around with it. Vapor production is awesome tho and love the looks even tho it is top heavy. Glad I had a spare Loki ring because the gap would drive me nuts. Thanks for all the help on this thread and if my darker juices shine in this, I'm def in for the authentic.

You might love a 0.6ohm coil on your Kayfun 4, AngiBe! After 5 hour vaping on it, it's too hot for me as a daily, however.

I thought the ohms had to stay at 1 or above on it?? Plus I only have a ProVari to use it on so I'm limited.

After vaping on it for awhile and the wick is more saturated, the flavor has increased a lot. Still going to play around with the AFC once I get home later.
