lol, what screen show isnt going with what chipset will give you. and i can tell you that you dont get 2V, this chip dont have step down, so the min V is what V are you battery, so if batt have 3,7V then chip dont provide anythink less than 3,7V.

Thank you for pointing out what should be the obvious  Most chips that do not have step down capacity will display on screen what the bucked voltage would be, regardless of the fact that is does not have the capacity to step down to that lower voltage setting. Most "knowledgeable" regulated device users know this.

Nelson, you have it backwards. The lower the resistance, the more power it needs. I never vape under 4v except as the power goes down on my mechs.

if I want to vape a 0.6-0.8 onm coil at 16 watts i'm sure it will need les then 4 volts... right now i'm vaping a 0.82 ohm coil on my rDNA @ 16.5 watts and the voltage is 3.64 :) now if I put it to 14.5 watts it's needing only 3.40v, see what i'm getting at... or am I missing something ;)

That was a little uncalled for.... Not the info, but the tone. Not everyone knows this info.... As should be obvious by the post he was replying to, who thought they were vaping at what the screen was showing. We in the vape community should never jump on someone over passing on true info, since not everyone here knows this stuff...... Just saying

Ok, you prefer a lower power vape than you would get on a mech I guess. I prefer it the same or higher. I tend to vape in the 4.4-4.5V range, which is why I'm less enthused with my mechs these days. I'm vaping a 0.7 ohm build near 25W. I'm running a 0.4 ohm build near 45W.

Oh no, it was absolutely called for :glare: And unless you understand the "back story" sometimes it is better just pass on by those things that are not directed at, or involve you. So yes, my reply to cough was totally appropriate.

if you weren't aware of the chip not having step-down, don't feel offended by nikki's statement. the tone was directed at one person alone who thought he knew better despite multiple parties telling him otherwise. had he done the research himself, he would have seen that they were giving him accurate information

Are there any 510 issues or complaints when compared to the Yosen version?

Sent from my using my

Not that I've seen yet, however, I'm trying to only buy mods with spring loaded ones from now on. I've replaced 3 510s already. However, my ZNA clone and Sig 100W have been fine with the reverse adjustable pins.

No, not that have been reported and I don't expect there to be any really. SXK knows how to machine a proper 510, and the Tale of the bad 510's on the Yosen DNA is that SXK produced about 2000 pcs of those botched 510's at one time which was an error in CNC programming. China being China, they were not going to scrap those 2000 pcs, so they just mixed them in with those that were ok, and continued to send them out throughout all of the batches, on both V1 and V2 .. it was a mistake in machining that they were not willing to take the hit for .. which was stupid.

The 510's on the Yosen SX are what you would normally get on any SXK made product, which is usually exceptionally good. So far it appears that they have also gotten better at installing electronics as well ..
