I only own flat top batteries and even then, I am having a hard time swapping them out. MXJO batteries and VTC 4. I may purchase Samsung batteries based on roxynoodles reply

Every time I use a Samsung, I can get it back out without issue. I forgot to usb charge last night, and again, the Samsung that was in it came out fine. So that's all I'm going to use now. The Sony incident made me leery. I had to rewrap it.

I also had the great luck to lose the battery set screw the first day

So in order to get the Mod to work I took 2-HE2 and removed the wrap from the bottom of the battery. so that the full Neg metal end of the battery was exposed. It's not much but another .5mm cant hurt if your still tight. just be careful you don't want to remove too much of the wrap and expose more of the battery than you need too. Thinking even after i get a few replacement set screw of not even using them and just stay with the exposed neg base as i have found then very easy to replace. I can see problems with the set screw down the road. Will take a battery that fits Snug. I have had good luck with both HE2 and Panasonic CGR18650Ch. the Panasonic is only a 10A battery and why i ended up going with the HE2.

I actually almost lost my battery screw on my first one, but I was lucky to find it in my carpet. You should ask FC if they can get a few replacements negative contact screws :)

Hello all. I am a noob to most of this, but hoping for some help. I don't know about these chips at all. I just know I've got a Delta II tank on the way and my current mod won't work. I have enjoyed the little 20w istick but am ready and now need to step it up. This mod intrigues me.

Dumb questions: does this have reverse battery protection? I've only had non replaceable battery mods so far....so I think I should get something idiot proof if you know what I mean. I've never purchased through FC. Are they reputable or is their internet security questionable?

I'm unsure I will like the gravity settings feature...but it appears everyone else is getting used to it.

Please help walk me through this... I just want the best bang for my buck and under $100 in a mod capable of 50W, mostly to run the Delta II. I also assume the usual atty short protection is there and all. Those features must be assumed as I haven't seen discussion about them....and the FC site didn't address it. ( or I missed it) cause I am not familiar at all with FC. I found navigating that sight to be a bit cumbersome.

I really hope all this doesn't sound too dumb.

Yes there is reverse polarity protection and short circuit protection. Gravity Sensor works exactly how it should and can find no real reason to not like it.

Roxy, that's good to hear. I am very torn right now between these two mods. I am just not sure whether to pop for the extra $100 for the mini. I don't think that this Zero clone is missing anything I really want / need. I do like the look of the mini better, but aesthetics is not a big deal to me at all.

I just want it to work well....reliably, an hopefully for a long time. What I am reading is that this Zero mod is going to measure up to that standard.

does yosen plan on releasing anymore colors? I want a black one ;)

I didn't ask them, but I have been meaning to make the suggestion that they do a black and deep red version. From what Yosen told me the blue one is the best seller, followed by green, and they have a hard time unloading the yellow, which doesn't surprise me. I actually like the green one too, and I am not a "colors" person. It appears that FC sold out of the blue, and only have 2 green left.

So I will make a point of suggesting it them hun :) These resin/acrylic Zero's are actually more pocket friendly because they weigh only 148grams according to my digital scale. With all the "Mini" craze going on, the Zero is actually a Mini as well. Its shorter than the SMOK M22 and SXmini.

OK. I'm 95% convinced to get this mod. I have never dealt with FC, so I assume from comments here that they are not a gamble. It's on re-stock currently. I read earlier in the thread if I place order now it secures me for when the next shipment is in......which is supposed to be by this weekend or early next, right?

In other words, give my $ now, and mod within two weeks assuming all goes as expected? I know that's all estimated and assuming things go as expected.
