The CE mark has nothing to with the mod coming from China! It's a European conformity mark for safety etc.
Thanks DazzaB, I stand corrected. That was until I read Vlad1 post, Its so confusing!.
Not that I really care as it has been placed on the Best mod that I have ever owned so far.

ot. I am a vegan. low on iron can land you in the hospital. get a supplement asap. if very low get a rx supplement from your dr.
now on topic. I would honestly be thoughtful of what you vaporize into your lungs. I am not sure. I do know certain metals in the lungs like mine workers etc will kill you in quick order. some of these metals are unproven territory. I would just be careful. I feel vaping is safer than analogs but if you go to far it can perhaps be lethal. so that is all id does? I thought it did any metal. I bet they can update the m-class to do those.

I am interested in the next devices. now two or three are in the works beyond 350j2 and dna200. not sure what they do.

honestly to me the biggest thing is powerful preheat on a device. that is what really gives me the best hit. not so much the wattage or metal. that's just me though. thus far the m-class is my perfect device on powerful+. I am running 43 joules on a triton coil too! still, I do not blow clouds like certain rda setups. does not matter to me. I just enjoy the taste.

I was reading more about the ML and now they are saying it does Ni, Ti, SS, and Iron. Now the last two are vapable on any VW mod correct? I don't know anything about Iron except that I am low on it.
iron?!?!?!? Hard to beleive that is useful unless you want to vape rust! Also too brittle, doubt the reisstivity is very high and probably no tcr to speak of but thats a guess...

apparently you can get pure iron wire but rusting will be the most obvious deal-breaker imho!

well one of mine finally developed a problem. full battery, vape a bit. shows battery dead. few minutes later full battery again. it lasted long enough. in fact longer than any other mod I have. tried 3 fresh batteries. it's the mod but I am okay with it. I got my use out of it. good excuse to get ml now. except no one has them. is it released yet?

It should still be under warranty.

A couple of weeks ago I thought I had a dead one, until I found out that Protected batteries are a big No No they just won't work as the protected circuit plays havoc with the YiHi chip.
Wish YiHi had mentioned that in the instruction manual, I guess it was an oversight or I can't see it in the small print.
I just started using SonyVTC5 these are really lasting well.

I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing I'm seeing.

I'm using the VS Ni Atlantis coils with an Atlantis tank. Over the last few weeks or so, I have gotten a few dry hits. IT very well could be since doing the firmware upgrade.

Either way, I am not seeing the dry coil display and it doesn't seem to be detecting when the coil is too dry. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

I'm running at 50J 450F.

I've used a bunch of those coils and while they seem to have a higher defective rate than the stock Aspire, I've never seen the issue you describe. The bad ones I've had mostly fail within a couple of days, though I did have one that was DOA.

Since the news of the next generation ML class and the new TCR numbers needed I decided to go back to using Kanthal. Interesting that I have been really enjoying the Kanthal again. I have been able to use tanks that were problematic in TC mode.
I also found a new Kayfun style tank the Montser V3. It's a Kayfun on steroids. Been vaping @.6 ohms @ 30 watts.
I thought TC was the answer not so sure at the moment.
I guess I'll love the SX M for its look and accuracy in wattage mode.

I am surprised a protected cell even fits in it lol. generally no protected cells in any ecig mods. it has certainly developed an albeit small issue. hopefully tide me over until I get ml. I can get like down to 4.0v now. my fanciest most expensive mod is non tc. have not used it in a year. how long is warranty knowing how great they are maybe they send me ml! fingers crossed.

Since I started using Mods 1275 days ago it was the recommended rule that for safety Protected Cells be used in all un-regulated Mods, and if used in series a must.
They certainly fit into the SXmini as it must be spring loaded, I have fitted Blazar ncrb3400 nipple top, and though its at tight fit the cap still sits flush just.
But they do not work due to interference with the chip :( they are expensive batteries to have sitting around, as I don't use any of my top range Un-regulated anymore.
Mods on the shelf I can admire, batteries not so appealing though I am hoping they will fit the LED 18650 Flashlights I have on order.

this is true. sort of a legal disclaimer to folks. I do not know anyone that uses protected in mech or regulated. most won't fit. yes, they are safer if you err on the safe side. you cannot push them nearly as far. I guess others will chime in. I just know a lot of vapers and none of them use protected. plus those are too darn expensive. actually protected with ni,ti could pose an issue in a regulated mod. not safety just not work right. if you are really concerned that much about safety I admire you. I guess I will tell you when my hand and half face is blown off. I have regularly sub ohmed on mechs with non protected. most people do. you, my friend are probably smarter than me at least. I am not being jive I really mean you are a rare breed.

hehe, I saw the pic and said is this guy in aus lol. there are 3 roo's around here. they kick me and man that hurts. in case you did not know this is a sanctuary for abused animals. all animals no matter what. even an alligator.

you know what? the batt is in fact dead! the bar is reading wrong! any way I can fix that guys? eh, this guy maybe sold me a 3 pack of bad Chinese cells. they are called ten power. that is the kind of thing you do not mess with but call me stupid.

Meant to add I admire folks who care for abused and injured animals, I am assuming you run or work in a sanctuary. Good on you! I will PM you with pic's of some big reds.

Have you tried reloading the firmware? Could be your firmware has become corrupted. I've seen a number of reported issues resolved just by applying the firmware again. Give it a shot if you haven't already and let us know the results.

thank you Burnie. vlad that makes good sense. I just don't have time right now because I do not have this new pc stable yet. you know if it reboots while updating.... however it does seem to be that new 3 pack of cheap batteries. my vtc5's are not doing that afaik. I am tossing those batteries while I am ahead anyways.

fixed. good job vlad. unfortunately paint is not fixed lol. looks pretty shoddy. hope they fixed the paint on ml.
ot. Burnie I love big reds. they look like musclemen. I see a lot of 350j customs but do not know what they are. can anyone tell me some? wood would certainly fix the paint issue.
Great glad that fixed it for you. You know there have been several that have reported getting replacements under warranty for the paint as well. You could contact Perry at Varitube.com and see about getting it replaced.

honestly vlad not even worth it. it will just happen again. it is what it is. it is the function that matters not the paint really. I am not big on cosmetics. one of those customs would be nice though. I was just mentioning the paint. does not really bother me. they should improve that though. unless they already did and I don't know about it. then I guess I would ask for a replacement. regardless, it is my favorite mod. the hit is just right.

So Cal
I updated mine months ago when the TI update first came out. But yesterday my screen started scrambling - anytime I go into menu mode it goes up and down all the options without stopping and changes all the settings - I can't change them back, because it does the same thing anytime I go into the menu :-( Guess I'd better hope Yihi will replace it since I bought it at the end of May! Has anyone else had this issue?
