I've been reading about this mod all over the different sites on internet. Planning on buying my first box mod and this one catch my attention. Been my first one, not really interested about 100+ watts but temp control. Love the idea of burning off the e- juice instead of re-wicking for a flavor change, mixing my own juice so I do this often.
Still waiting for reviews to finally pull the trigger on mine, in the meanwhile looking for the best price around. I came across this site: Source SX MINI M Class box mod/sx350 mini/mod box sx mini yihi/sx mini yihi/mod yihi sx mini box/sx mini box mod/sx 350 mini on m.alibaba.com
Does anyone knows if this is a trustable source for buying? Is there any hiding cost, like custom taxes?
If everything is ok with them, then I just need to find 9 more people and get it, that's $100 cheaper than any other place.

I would not put too much faith in this listing. Yihi does not sell their mods to the China resellers and the pictures shown are of the old SXmini S class, the first version without temp control which are no longer being produced by Yihi.

It is, some folks are doing a 2 strand twist and love it. I have some 28ga and like it but the 24 is just some damn easy to work with that it's my go to.

Steve, that sounds about right. I use a 3mm and six wraps gives me .21Ω consistently in my drippers, a little higher in my K4. I use the 3mm because the wicking and flavor for me is better. Other then the Taifun and the Aqua 2 a 3mm works in just about all my toppers
Marc, what coil do you use in the Aqua v2? I haven't had much luck with flavor in mine

I like easy, so I doubt I'll go beyond your suggested 24g spaced 5 or 6 wrap for most TP applications Marc411... thanks again.

I find that the wider ranges of ID 2 to 3mm is optimal for TP wicking, but yes it depends on the deck and design of the atomiser; how much headroom they allow between and above the posts.

l.e the Aqua2 ... forget it :) hehheh; thats one of my favorites but for me its working with kanthal at 2mm max. since I don't have to rebuild kanthal much. I've had the same dual in there for a month now.
If Ti works much easier than Ni200, I am sure I'll put some in there and see.

But like i said before, most my vaping is TP and I don't mind changing out coils often (due to no dry burn cleaning)

Yerba, that just looks shady, they shouldn't even have access to the real thing. My suggestion would be to use a reliable vendor so you have the warranty support. I have two of the kanthal versions that I picked up from Varitube. They have been perfect so I haven't needed to go back but Perry has helped me with other items. I'm a big fan of Varitube! I will also be buying my TC SX from them solely based on the trust that the owner Perry has built with me through great customer service.

thatjuice, I just went down to a 3/32 bit and used the same wraps but it's been a while. If I remember correctly I ended up at .12Ω. I’ll have to check the build when I get home but I’m with ukeman, the Aqua 2 is hard to beat with kanthal. I have one loaded with kanthal and one with Ti and I would say the kanthal gets used more.

Honestly the K4 and Taifun are much better for TP although I did add one of these to my K4 to improve the conductivity for the DNA chip. I is a definite upgrade.

It replaces the counter nut and your spring sits in the cup. No more ohms dancing once this came into play. kayfun-v4-spring-update

Ukeman, I’m a big fan of easy myself. I’ve had the same Ti build in my N22 for at least three weeks. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts once you start building with the 24ga.

Thank for the replies. And Marc, Varitube seems to have a big fan customers base, it's my first option. Still don't know much about vendors. I've put a lot of research time on this decision and, so far, by reading the various excellent threads around here, always got great products and customer service. Thanks again guys.

I'll vouch for VariTube. They've very active on the forums, very helpful, and answer emails very quickly. I got my first SXmini from them, and have pre-ordered the new M-class from them as well. That's not to say there aren't other good vendors out there, just that I've had several good experiences with VariTube.

+1 on VariTube John. After you folks write some outstanding reviews on the new M-Class that's who'll I'll order from based on my experience with them. A stand up vendor to be sure. When the heck does this happen and should I start practicing with Nickel yet?

I have just received my SX Mini M Class mod with a Grey/Silver color and started vaping on it with my Delta II. So far it is an awesome vape and quality device. It is a pretty heavy device even without the battery and with the battery it is very heavy for such a small device that fits in my hand very comfortably. All the rough physical edges that were reported with the original SX Mini have been vastly smoothened out and it just feels great in the hand. The display is super sharp and bright too. I am surprised to see along with Soft, Standard, and Powerful modes, they added Powerfu+ mode which at first try appears to give a hefty initial boost to the coil when you first push the button. Now I must spend some time with the device and learn all the menu options and even read the manual. Later on today I will pull out my Kangertech SubOhm Mini and my OCC nickel coils and give that a run in TC mode once I figure things out a bit more. But in the mean time, my Delta II is giving some delightful vapes while I learn the ropes.

I would like to thank Varitube for being true to their commitment by shipping out my unit ASAP. I don't usually purchase a pre-order 2 months before delivery expectation date, but now I am so glad that I did.

Received mine also a couple of hours ago. I have had an S Class since early January and had no worries about this pre-order from Varitube. I was not prepared for the extreme wow factor though! The fit & finish have been kicked up a few notches...Time will tell on longevity but none of the casting marks, etc. are visible on the M class. I am an experienced DNA40 user and will post more details in a couple of days but my initial impression is.....WOW! TC done right. (IMO only of course.) Add on the 4 modes (all of which work in TC mode) and I believe the 350J chip is a game changer.

Got my silver/grey also

First time with temp control and nickel and having some issues. Trying to figure it all out is a big hassle.

You have to be in Joule mode for it to allow temperature control correct?

I don't have a torch but I just use my coil master to roll 12 wraps of 26 ga to meet around .07 resistance

Right now I have it set to 50 joules and 430 F and it gave a real nasty burnt hit and still kept going. Trying to figure out why.

JJ, I Just got mine today as well. The lowest resistance the in the spec. says .08 ohm. so you might be too low at .07. I made a .17 ohm coil using 28ga. using NI200. I set the power to 14 joules and a temperature of 320F and it vapes great for me. Just a note, I'm lower on temp and power because I use 24mg nic in my ejoice. As far as I can tell you need to be in Joules for TC.

JJ, Just another note. With your coil cooled down to room temperature, screw the atomizer onto the SX mini M. Make sure the unit is on. Then simultaneously press the up/down buttons and hold until the display says "set resistance" let go of the buttons and press fire button once. This will set the resistance for TC to match your atomizer resistance.
