K*Rose - There are several sizes of discs and a diamond wheel you can buy. I accidently bought the thin discs (#409) and they break really easily! Whoops... won't do that again, but I'll use them up. If you have those, you can put 2 on the mandrel and it strengthens them and will add width to the cut since they make a thinner cut by themselves on the cartos. So far, they've wicked ok with a single disc, but I widened it a bit by pressing the wheel against the edges of the cut after I made it. It was a PIA...

There's also a reinforced cut off wheel you can buy which is what I think probably would work the best (they're thicker and the reinforced fiberglass in them will make them last longer?). I used up mine before getting to try one on a carto by cutting away a metal gazebo base strip and then cutting off anchor bolts off of my backyard concrete slab. LOL They work great. #456 I think they are.

The Dremel diamond disc is too expensive at Home Depot (about $20!). You can find them on Amazon and eBay. Probably what I'll buy when I run out of my thin ones. Anybody tried these yet?

You're welcome Ricks... :)

Nice addition Andel11! I forgot about that one.

Did I really suggest to you to get rid of your Delrin one?? Those are the tighter fitting ones... At least in my stash... However, the SS one i have isn't so bad either...

I sold my backup Delrin, I still got one I am using now :)

Uh oh, now you got me 2nd guessing myself as I thought they fixed the issues and the most current reviews of the SS tanks say it's back to normal...?

Lol, that post is ancient... Before I even got my first SS tank that was looser then a $2.... Well you get the point. A lot of water passed under the bridge since then... And about 30 pages in this thread as well....

FYI - the J-tank is a nice tank, I have 2 of them .. a black one and a white one, they dont have SS yet. Jason at Electronicstix makes them, he's often out of them, but he also distributes some to VaporGalaxy, usually the black ones .. I've bought mine in both places. They have an excellent fit, no leaks and not loose, they say they hold 3ml but it's actually a little less than that.

Here's a simple solution to protecting the filler when either slotting, drilling or punching a hole in a carto. Take an old SS tube and use a dremel with cutting wheel to cut a section from as shown in the picture below. Now slide it between the carto and filler. Works great and is easy to make!

Yes K, and final update is 4:06 and battery is spent... It's the 2900mah 18650 IC protected. My final statement is 30 solid hours of vape time and I say slightly longer then that cause I bumped it down for an average... Not to shabby!

I had two brand new black ones and I went ahead and ordered the red AW's. Because, I thought the Black AW's didn't work well with the Provari. But, from the looks of your study, they ROCK.

Got some gurgling over the weekend.. flooding infact. The only different variable in the equation is a new juice base. This is a juice I have never used before, it is a doubler that says it is mixed at 80/20 (PG/VG) and I don't know any more than that. The niquid I am using is the same as the previous mixes, which is 50mg PG base. So I am unsure why this juice is misbehaving. It happened once with the Apple Pie flavour and then again with the Strawberry Tart flavour, both from the same juice vendor.

When I used other juices, I didn't have any trouble at all. THe previous juices were HG premixed (PG) and also double flavour 100% PG juices from Gourmet Vapor. Both were fine, no leaking, not even the faintest gurgle.

Could it really be the higher amount of VG that is causing the leaking/flooding/gurgling???? I would have thought it would be the exact opposite, since VG is thicker...?

Thoughts?

EDIT: Oh and I did change to a new precut (I don't own a dremel so buy them precut) after the first one flooded.
