I just orderd the 3ml doil coil tank, any clue if the Boge Cartos will fit Im guessing yes, I was thinking the only diffence when ordered was what carto came with it, but not sure. they say tanks ship mid week, I really cant wait to slap it on my Bombshell

The only difference between the dual coil tank and the 3ml tank is the height. I ordered the 3ml so I can use it on both Boge cartos and the DC cartos. I have a J-Tank from another supplier that is 3ml, and it is the same principle. The diameter of the DCs and the Boge's are the same. You just can't use the DC tank on the Boge's due to the short stature of the Boge cartos.

Tall tanks hold 5ml and phat tanks hold 5.5ml. That's the other difference. All cartos can be used in the 3ml and phat tanks but only duals and megas in the 5ml tanks. I've also found that the J-Tanks only hold 2.5 or just a tad more but not a full 3ml like the liquinators do. I'm going to cut bigger tanks for the J-tanks so I get more capacity. Not a bad price but a little deceiving in the description.

Precisely! I'm glad I'm not the only one able to get just over 1.5ml in this 3ml tank! I like it, but when I order a 3ml system, I want it to hold 3ml, or very close to it. My Liquinator 3ml should be here Monday, and if it actually holds 2.5 or more, it will be worth the extra $5. I don't mind refilling too much, but if I had a true 3ml, I could go all day. I currently refill the J twice a day, on average. It actually seems like there is more cap than tank on the J.

LOL - I've been waiting even longer than that! Let's mark that up to one of the benefits of living in this hellish heat.

They got their first dozen or so today for approval. I bet the lathes start turning in earnest next week. The stainless are quite nice, but the aluminum ends are AMAZING. They literally have a mirror finish.

If you're jealous of that, though, you should see what else I picked up today. ;)

Congrats Wylie, two nice buys..:thumb:
and just think...I am selling my FLHTCUI.

I've got a friend in the Dallas suburbs who rides a new Ultra Classic and another in Abilene.
We've all been riding for 40+ years and have riding buddies all across the US and Canada.

Looks like we've got a lot of people in this thread with great taste! Let me know if you find yourself in the DFW metroplex. We'll show you some Texas hospitality.

I built that bad boy

Nice work! I've re-built a couple, but nothing as nice as that!
