A nail and a hammer work great or a drill... As a matter of fact, that's what I am going to use for now on. The reason being is that the dremel method seems to want snag the inner O-rings on occasion, causing freying or tearing of them... Just my experience. Hope that helps change your decision!

Chief, can you give a bit more info on using a nail/hammer? One hole sufficient or do you really need 2 (one on each side). Any tips (size of nail) or warnings (damaging the carto) that you can share?

I'm all for the easiest way possible without crapping up the carto and if I don't have to go find/drag out the Dremel and find/buy a cutting wheel, all the better.

Called Vaporescence today, asked what the BFT is .. it's the width of the current phat tank but is taller than the current phat tank .. will hold 8-9ml.

Also got the following tip .. if your juice is very thick then 2 slots will probably work better than one but if you're using a dual carto then for sure only one slot.

I'm wondering the same thing. Glad we're both lazy.

I have a question for you pros who use it a lot. Do you find you less juice? since you are not constantly fiddling, topping off and wiping or do you find that you use more juice because of the ease?

I started using less juice then I got my loose tanks...spilled 3 ml in my truck, spilled 2 ml on my shirt and then spilled 3 ml on my paints. Now my tanks are all tight and I'm working back to even with the juice. No more tank sliding off.:)

So I took a couple of dual coil cartos to work today and used a very sharp nail to punch two holes in each of them. It's actually very easy to punch them out, you don't have to hit them hard at all. Was a little worried about having two holes in a dual, but just got home and put one in a tank and they work perfect...I couldn't be happier!! :)

I definetly use more juice with the tanks too...LOL!

Well, Chief hasn't replied yet, so I'll give my take.

I use the dremel to do the slots or use a 1/16" bit to do the hole.
I cut one slot or I drill 1 hole in my cartomizers, and they vape excellent.
I use a 1/16" bit and can hold the carto in one hand and drill with the other.

Need to get a sharp nail and do what tyler did...sounds easier. :thumb:

It really is Rosco, took just a minute...had someone hold the carto for me on a hard surface, gave it a hard tap and all set. :) Did not deform the carto or make it out of round at all. Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can...LOL!!

hmm...this is either a very close friend or a very stupid acquaintance. Personally, I would pass on that request.

"Okay just hold it right there...steady...steady... [wild look in tyler's eyes as he imagines the vaping pleasure]"

Actually, I'm a she...LOL!

And it was just one of the Maintenance guys I work with, who has known me for over 5 years and I guess trusts me pretty well. :) I'm sure you can do it by yourself too, but just wanted someone there to make sure I didn't screw it up on my first try.

.... that. No offense but I would never trust a girl with a hammer. I don't care if she built the Eiffel tower by hand. =P just kidding!

I have some of those. I just cut one open to see what's inside and it appears to be built identical to a Boge only longer. It will fit a long tube perfectly. I'll throw one in and let you know how it goes.

Thanks ............... Let me know..... Is it stainless steel or did it have the sticker on it... CCV has a great deal on them!
