The Dani Extreme V2+ will soon be available. The + version has a spring loaded centre pin which makes it a serious contender. There will also be an upgrade available for the regular V2. It's not clear at this point if it's some kind of software update or a hardware update in which they replace the centre pin for a spring loaded one.

..ordered...lol! I originally got the V2 but couldnt stand the fixed 510 so swapped it for the 2380. This is a beauty and couldnt resist..oh dear...

ps. the update is a swap out of the 510 assembly to change for the floating 510 pin. They say details of the cost etc will be available in early October.

I just couldn't handle that single button interface. The most complex device on the market and only one button.

Tell you the truth, it should have Bluetooth and an app for easier control. Then the single button would be a non-issue for me.

Anyway congratulations on your order, certainly an awesome device.

The interface is a breeze. Just takes a bit of practice. Seriously, within 15 mins its all done if you are using TC mode exclusicvely. Most of the rest is just fiddling that one can learn as you go along. I quite like it now!

An app is good of course and certainly the future (well present with the smok offerings as crap as they seem to be). But there is a geeky pleasure in using the dicodes. I think an app and BT wouldnt suit it somehow.

Just got my SS430 in from unkamen. Should I try contact, or spaced coils?

I did spaced because of the SPRINGY-NESS of 430.

Tightly twisted it is fairly easy to get a contact coil, ohms out pretty nice for a single coil as well. Spaced works well also, twisted gives a bit more flavor.

I'm extremely happy with Unkamen 430, works a treat in both TC and standard wattage.

This build has been awesome.

I agree a complex device like this I would have rather seen a box mod with controls more like the SX. Too many things going on and from the videos I've watched the screen doesn't stay on long enough for me. And I also agree it is an awesome device. I think I'll wait for the one that YiHi is supposed to come out with in December probably more like June. Their website is down also YiHi that is.
