Me too, like it a lot.

Would be fun to play with some 30AWG tho.

Eric
I'm looking to go the other way... the 28awg (or slightly smaller as my spool measures .30-.31mm) just doesn't have enough mass/heat capacity. I've tried spaced and contact coils but the flavor just isn't quite there. Running a twisted 28 works, but it seems to gunk up faster than a single 26 of Ti/Invar36. I usually wipe off the coil when I refill and it isn't as effective with a twisted coil.

I ordered some true NiFe52 from zivipf and thanks to @Chris5135 I got some 25 and 27awg from crazywire as well as.

What has happened to @TheotherSteveS haven't seen any posts from him lately. He was so sold on this Zivipf NiFe48. Mine is arriving today and I'm thinking of just wrapping a 6 wrap 2.5mm 26awg coil and placing it giving it a couple of pulses and a squeeze will be using my coilmaster. Then wick it and give it a try. Steve seemed to be sold on this stuff and I am hoping it is as easy as what I'm going to try. Want to try it out and then I'll decide if I want 50m or 50m of Ti. I don't fool around with fancy coils just a simple single coil. 5 wrap Ti works very well. The best so far in TC but I want to get enough to last. I am preparing for Vapocolypse which I think is coming. I talked to the guy I get all my flavoring from in Germany and they are all going through the same kind of crap that we are here in the states with delegalization of vaping. I don't understand why this is such a big deal but it seems to be worldwide. By the time I get completely stocked I will be self sufficient for at least 5 years and the govt can kiss my white Irish ....

You can use NiFe48/A52/Nifethal52 on everything, even on mech just keep an eye on the amp draw if the device is unregulated:)
However, a WW device is more likely gonna overheat it eventually.

Thanks.

On simple TC devices that only do NI and TI, what "mode" could/should be used?

Using a reliable Ti profile would be easier. It would need a 7ish% temp offset in Celsius and this is it. In Fahrenheit it would be a bit more complicated tho:)
And you have to set the temp higher by 7%

here she is, dual coil in my goblin mini, dry burned, strummed out hot spots, flavor's good, i like that is steadier than SS.

EDIT.....im pretty sure i'll retire whats left of my spider silk 26g. but i gotta say Ti has always treated me good. i understood what you could and couldnt do with it. these two spools of nife48 will most likely last me over a year, prolly more. i make a coil and unless somethings wrong from the getgo or a leg snaps off down the road, thats gonna be the coil in that atty for months and months, with frequent wicking changes.

When you say dry burned did you torch it or just heat it on the mod after placement. I just got mine and going to try it out. If you did it on the mod what settings did you use to strumm out the hotspots.

I don't understand DNA200 so need to know. I was just going to wrap it place it heat it strum it and go for it TCR.00405
My suggestion is to set your SX M-Class to Watts mode at "19-20J".

With very quick pulses watch the coil glow, intermittently strumming the inside of the coil with a near fit screwdriver.

You want to be certain there are no hot spots or hot legs.

Others will have different views...
