Does that sound about right. I didn't think you pulsed it that high but if that is what works ok
i just cut two sections of the 26 gauge about 6 inches long wrapped two 8 wrap 3 mm contact coils stuffed them in the goblin mini then test fitted the chimney barrel (was a mistake using 3mm coils, tight) checked my ohms, put on my vt200 set at 10 watts at first to make sure i blast a coil leg off. immediately noticed one hot leg. strummed the puppies. got the hot leg taken care of. bumped it to 20, strummed, post screws backed out some do to expansion. re-tighten post screws. bumped it to 35 watts, pulsing and strumming away. 3 min later, glowing evenly from the inside out. coils turned a blackish color after all was said and done. vape is similar to Ti, IMO. 8 wraps 3mm dual coils netted me .157 ohms. works really good. however, i guess i need to do a better, different job wicking this mini. half a tank of ohw, milkman ran out the bottom of the tank and down in between the sleeve and the mod. what a mess.......
What the program called to patch your mod in and check readings, etc?
hey, that would be a great idea. having software so that you could just plug any mod into your comp and get a graph like that. something for someone smart to develop right there. @jazzvaper johnny 5 needs input, more input, #5 alive!eScribe from evolv

glad to hear you got it going. im enjoying it also. hey, if your face melts, post some pics. J/K please keep your face at room temperature.OK I did 6 wraps 2.5mm took 12w to get it glowing, strummed it till it glowed from inside out. Now sort of breaking it in settings TCR.00405 14J 380F .21ohms. Seems to be working great. Now I have to wait and see if my face starts melting. Holding temperature very well actually better then Ti. Not exactly the taste of Ti but that is because it is not broken in yet. Easy to build on the coilmaster.
whats your tcr setting on the reliant, 40, 45?Mine showed up today from the EU:

I unspooled ~6" off the 26AWG and wrapped it so I could pre-heat it:

The stove did not work out as well as I'd like so I grabbed the torch and ceramic tweezers and went over the wire a few times making sure all the parts were glowing nice and red.
A unbuilt STM was all I had laying about to build on so I used it. I had to back the screws out and trim the ends very close to the screws as anything hanging out tends to short against the hood.

6 easy wraps on a #6 or #8 (I forget) screw. Worked out to ~0.24 ohms. Easy to wind and the wire did not unwind when I cut it off from the rest. I was going to try the new Silica rope but since I was using a STMv2 deck I opted for cotton.
After removing the screw and mounted on a Reliant. The reliant was already set for 19W so I just used that. Not much worry as this was a spaced coil so I just hit the fire button until I could see the coil glowing. SInce I was not really paying attention to how the coil glowed I did it a few more times paying more attention to it glowing from the middle out.

I've been using it with 19W, 380-430F, seems to vape fine. I really like how easy it was to wrap the coil. The 26AWG seems sturdy enough - not much flex while pulling the cotton wick through. Currently have a tank full of unflavored 50/50 18mg.
Cheers and happy vaping!
