Correction darling, the Tobeco most certainly does have a hybrid nut, it is a 1:1 And Roxy why didn't you mention that you had this thread going? Has anyone actually built and vaped one of the clones yet?

I only unboxed the Tobeco, didn't build it but it looks great ..

here's the thing, though.

I receive an authentic yesterday (dolphin batch). the orings and brass nut looks exactly the same as those in the picture, although mine included a spare insulator and no screw driver.

Its all good hun, so as long as you got one that comes with it .. I know you are all about that 20x1 hybrid capability The Aqua is so sexy with the Paps in hybrid Looks better than the Heron IMO. But I am regretting not getting a Tree of Life now, the Paps is my only 20x1 mech

FT just emailed saying my Aqua 2 shipped, fyi this is the one I ordered they called it "authentic". Description of tracking still states "oem". Ill be sure to post detailed pics when it arrives, if any others dont before hand.

cool, can't wait to see how it looks on the paps currently I have one heron on my SS paps, and the other one on a tree of life using the switch from the brass paps from FT hahaha. need another paps or tree I think

someone commented here or elsewhere that the o-ring set and brass hybrid nut are different in the oem/clones/whatever and the authentic. the spare bag I received looks identical that tobeco spare part bag, besides an extra insulator.

Really interested in hearing how the OEM AQUA V2 is, ordered mine on Monday (from FT <3) just before the listing was removed, still has not shipped, estimated shipping on the 12th

From reading the 'other' thread it seems that everyone is really happy with the authentics (I mean the overpriced ones as opposed to our reasonably priced authentics).

Cannot wait to get mine.
Looking forward to hybriding with my F Life/Tree of M Mech (Tree of life tube with FM Button).

Is there a definitive answer to how to wick it yet? I have seen a few people say "fill the channels" and others say "keep the wick out of the channels".

^ the Aqua has always been a wick-in-channel atty. If you've seen the v1 irl, you'll see that the wick channels are massive and deep compared to the other dual coil RTA like the fogger v4/5, orchid or billow.

I ordered the FT OEM version which I'm pretty sure is the same as the 'authentic" and the 1:1. I think I will pair (hybrid) it up with my Paragon with a GP bottom switch. I like the Paragon carbon fiber finish...4-5 months and the sucker still doesn't have a scratch or ding in that finish. What a surprise.

Wicks are meant to run in the channels on an Aqua. The channels are huge when compared to an Orchid.



My "authentic" from FT shipped last week, but unfortunately for me, I promised my wife I'd wait till Christmas to open it.



I'll be anxiously awaiting the reviews of others until then.

i'm planning to get either the tobeco clone or a limewell clone. anyway, i'm trying to find red O-Rings that can go with the clear tank. i think that it looks so good with my le petit gros and red derlin JMK drip tip. link would be much appreciated.

Oringsandmore.com should have red silicone orings for you. Not sure about sizes tho.

Someone already got their "authentic" from FT and posted pics, looks really, really nice. The Tobeco looks nice too but ive seen a few qc issues with it such as wonky post holes and such. The FT one looked flawless which has me excited. Hopefully mines here in a week or so.
