At what voltage you using the standard 901s at?

By "standard" 901's I am referring to the ones that meter out to 2.4-2.6ohm. I am technically running at 3.7volts. I use the AW P18650 2600's. That particular battery has a discharge rate that stays above 3.8 for more than half it's cycle. So again, it is technically 3.8 to 4.2. I can tell when they get around 3.8 and swap them out with a fresh charge.

I do use the 2.0ohm 901's if I'm using my AW P18500's. Their discharge rate falls off more sharply than the 2600 so I can live with the 2.0 easier. Anything below 2.0 is a no go for me.

I am not fond of a hot vape at all. My main criteria for a satisfactory vape is dependent on flavor and nic hit alone. To be honest, if only the hotter vape was available, I'd likely be back on smokeless tobacco. I had no issues even after 41 years of smoking to give it up in favor of vaping. The smokeless (copenhagen) was a different animal entirely. That was a struggle.

It was the massive nic hit and flavor you get from the smokeless that was hard to replace. So I use odd combinations to get copious amounts of vapor loaded with high nic content with a decent taste. It's worked for me since February 2011. ;)

I do find it interesting how many different ways different vapers get their fix. While I am on the cool end of the spectrum, many like dspin want in his words a "flame thrower" effect. I guess as long as it keeps us off the tobacco, whatever works, right? :)

That's why I was wondering what voltage you were using the SR 901s at because me + a SR atty at 3.7V is UNHEARD OF. I seem to be at the side of the spectrum with DSpin... I'm a throat hit chaser! The only standard res atties I've used were at 6V :p

Sad to say though, I've never drifted away from 510s. I want to try other atties, but I'm afraid of losing TH. But your mention of only a stealth adapter allowing you to use a non-510 atty made me realize it's worth buying one and trying some 901s.

Ripple and dspin, knowing of my penchant for 901's gave me the advice on the stealth adapter bit for UFS use. It may all be in my big melon atop my shoulders but I swear the flavor from a 901 seems to be better than others.

And talk about a waste? I bet you hot vape guys would throttle me for buying that HH .357 in 2.5 ohm and using it with a single 18650!

My favorite vape so far was 2.0 901 atty unfortunatly I burned it out and just havn't ordered more yet since I have a huge stock of DC cartos.

Major are you covering the 901 hole with an o-ring?

I've run it both ways. The easiest for a new user such as myself was to close the juice control and leave the vent hole open. TO use with juice control though, you do need to cover the vent hole with an O-ring.

If you don't, you'll wind up with a seriously flooded atty! And yes, I found that out the hard way.

I have a few AFSv2 and an AVS which are both native 901 which I love. You do get a good flavor from the 901's. I use the 4.6ohm 901 from VK's bulk buys and run them at 7.4v  my UFS is stricly used for 510,s ;)

The two AVS's that I bought both came with the 510 connection so I never used the AVS with 901, which I hear is fantastic.

I do hear the flavor is quite amazing with the 901.

The HH is a great dripping atty. My nickel GGTS always has a HH on it. I get plumes of vapor off such short draws especially with VG juice

I am limited to the sites I can purchase from here in Canada, and because of that, I try to stick to COV for my supplies. What is the best atty for the new UFS that I can get from COV, keeping in mind that I don't have an atty extension or mouthpiece :(

Here is the link for the dual coil atty's. But I didn't like them in my UFS, great for dripping though.

New COV Dual Coil Atomizer 1.5 ohm

I forgot about this thread. Thanks so much for the info dude. 5 of them for $29.97 is a hell of a deal...

I've been reading about mixed results with the DC attys. However Joye seems to pop up on almost everyone's favorite for the UFS so I would check them out.

Ive been using ikenvapes and avidvapers lr 510's and they work great in the UFS. I also love the HH.357, they are 20 bucks but last a very long time with great flavor/th and not having to clean them. I also use joye lr's but the TH isn't there for me as the ones I already listed.

I burned up my 357 when i cleaned it, don't know what happened, ended up only getting two and a half weeks from it......:(

Yes I found that madvapes is also carrying a true stealth 510-901 for like $2.50 a pop. Not bad really. I ordered 4 and I honestly can't see any difference between any of the four versus the 7 dollar one I bought.

I know they work a charm for sure in my UFS. I still love saying that: MY UFS!
