While something is going to happen and happen quickly (perhaps hours or days from now), I'm still not certain exactly what will be banned. We keep hearing, "flavored e-cigarettes". It's not clear to me if that's accurate or even what "flavored e-cigarettes" are. For example, what category does naturally extracted, cased (flavor infused) tobacco fall under? Will they ban gear? Will they ban nic solution? Will they ban store sales, online sales, both? Closed system e-cigarettes only? All e-cigarettes?

We are in flux to be sure.

Just my opinion, but there was a lot of profit in juice, I imagine there still is. Seems a lot of stores/sites are going to lose a lot of profit, maybe enough to shut them down. I don’t know if they could make enough money off gear and accessories to make it worth their while to stay open. And then what? Even if it’s not banned outright, where are we going to buy gear?

Really, I don’t think it’ll stop with flavored liquids. I’m thinking they won’t be happy until everything is banned but pre-filled pods that their BT buddies can make money on.

The money is where this whole thing begins and ends.

It's been years in the making... Are you done stocking up?

Hope most of us are well stocked up!

I don't have enough nic. Not near enough. I'm looking at $750 - $1,000 needed for a stockpile. Was hoping to delay that for various reasons the biggest reason being that I still don't know if DIY is viable for me yet. Hoping they don't go after nic solution quite yet.

Having worked in the industry, they can't. Most if not all vape shops and e-liquid manufacturers will shut down in the US. Most of the money vape shops make comes from selling e-liquid. Very little profit comes from selling gear, not enough to stay open for business.

The saddest part is none of this is going to stop these idiot kids from buying .... off the street (which is what has been causing a vast majority of these new lung and vape issues). They will continue to find ways to get what they want just like kids huffing glue and aerosol spray in years past. The problem has never been underage vaping, it's always been about poor parenting. I'm glad I used my first retirement check to get my final supplies, and I WILL help vote this maniac out of office.

I was losing hope until I saw this post, so I checked for the umpteenth time and sure enough, they sent me a shipment email too this afternoon.

You should be able to call them now, most are open 24 hrs. It is just a matter of you confirming you made the purchase. Happens to me all the time.

All they needed was my first born son and a quart of blood, no just kidding. All they needed was a photo of the front of my card blocking the middle 6 numbers to prove it was my card and all was fixed. Thanks @rosesense.

Assuming there's a recipe for DIY that you can find vapable, I expect there are a number of people here that don't live too far away that could lend you a hand to get started. As long as you have nic there will be a way!

This issue led me to think about the vape meetups we had in the early days at a bar or a barbecue at a vaper's home. That simple thing may be a way to handle things in the future. Vaping potlucks FTW!

Have you tried making any yet? Worst case scenario, at least you’d have nic someone else could make your juice with.
